X outside Firewatch Initiative HQ Code Name: Madame X Real Name: {classified} Known As: X X is a champion marksman and athlete having competed at olympic levels. X is also a cunning linguist, scholar of world history and a heart-stopping femme fatale. X was recruited into the British Secret Service after she graduated from St. Cedd's College, Cambridge. A sassy and vivacious girl, X took to the espionage game with a passion, completing every challenge that was presented to her. When the Ministry of Defence reformed it's superteam Valiant, it chose X to act as liaison between heroes and the various intelligence groups within the establishment.

Grappler Grappler Attached to the left forearm and easily concealed, the dual barrel microfilament grappler. This device allows the wearer to quickly scale vertical or near vertical surfaces in order to reach strategic vantage points. In addition to this the device can be used to swing onto otherwise unreachable locations. Utilising a dual cable system with quick retract mechanism, the Grappler can be fired quickly in succession allowing the wearer to swing further than a single length of microfilament would allow. Each cable is tipped with an diamond sharp micro dart. These darts are designed using a nanomesh of memory metal memory metal. When an electrical charge is applied along the microfilament the darts form a barbed shape to embed within whatever surface they have penetrated; reversing the voltage of the charge reverts them to a streamlined needle allowing them to release their grip and retract into the Grappler. If the barb cannot be released for some reason the entire cable magazine is ejected from the Grappler to prevent the wearer getting tangled in a lost cable. The firing mechanism is an electrically ignited plasma generated from the integrated quick release gas reservoir. This device was built by Kid Steel, expanding on original designs created by his late father. Prior to the device supplied by Kid Steel, X has used various grapple guns to achieve similar functionality starting with a device created by S.I.S for british agents during WW2. Character Creation Madame X was originally created back in Autumn/Winter of 2011 as a super spy but was subsequently replaced by Crimson Fury in May 2012 due to lack of character slots at the time. Thankfully better times led to LTS and more character slots and when i found some old costume files I had saved, Madame X was reborn in May 2013 with much more defined look (generally using wrapped scarf for identity protection) and an expanded backstory.
