Introduction

After inadvertently defending the Devil in court public defender Matthew Matlock was cursed to take on a demonic form, only able to temporarily return to his human form after defending the truly innocent or bringing those truly evil to justice. Thus only by embracing his new demonic powers is Matt able to live a partially normal life.

His actions in Millennium City's rundown West Side district soon garnered press attention and a name - Danger Demon - given for his appearance and his willingness to take on overwhelming numbers of opponents
