After being attacked by the mentally deviant Qularr who called himself "The Master", struggling musician Jake Stonebender finds himself experiencing days, weeks and even months of lost time. Unknown to Jake during these spells he actually takes on different personas in order to hunt down "The Master" and finally free himself from the mental torture he is still undergoing.

Appearance & Personality: Jake Stonebender Demeanour: Calm, Easygoing, Caring, Outgoing Jake is a tall, wiry man with a weathered complexion from many years busking on the streets of Millennium City. He has sunbleached blond hair and beard. Some would call him somewhat scruffy, although he prefers to refer to his clothing style as relaxed. Spiral Demeanour: Easygoing Despite his somewhat crazed look, as Spiral Jake is an easygoing and confident defender of the weak in Millennium City's more rundown areas, as quick to crack a joke as crack heads. Spiral's outfit was fashioned from a neoprene divers suit, matched with a prop mask from a collection he was given following one of his acting jobs. Through all of Jakes persona's the mask, which resembles face of Punch derives from the Neapolitan stock character of Pulcinella. He is a manifestation of the Lord of Misrule and Trickster and as such Jake's fractured mind appears to subconsciously relate to him. The Prankster Demeanour: Clownish, Morally Ambiguous Prone to capriciousness, The Prankster is one of Jake's less predictable personas. As often at odds with the police and other heroes of Millennium City as he is assisting them. Seeing himself as a gentleman, The Prankster dons a simple tailored suit of green serge, matched with a deep violet shirt. This is finished of with a cape, simply because he thinks it makes him look dashing. Bluebird By Night Demeanour: Brooding, Reclusive Napalm Demeanour: Paranoid, Aggressive Cactus Jake Demeanour: Easygoing, Morally Ambiquous Jake The Leaper Demeanour: Eccentric Crimson Torch Demeanour: Cocky, Brash The Patriot Demeanour: Staid, Stoic Jake's noblest patriotic ideals come to the fore and he believes himself to be The Patriot, an American Hero dedicated to ridding Millennium City of criminals. The Terrapin Demeanour: Cold blooded, Pragmatic Arachnophobia Demeanour: Manic, Energetic Norseman Demeanour: Stoic at times, Joyful in battle Mistakenly believing himself to be the reincarnation of a norse deity, Jake becomes Norseman and attempts to do good through honor in battle Super Hero Man Demeanour: Calm, Bold, Heroic
