Appearance
Melanie is tall and athletically built with dyed blue hair and light brown eyes. While in civilian clothes she often wears something to cover her arms to hide the metal plugs set into her skin and up her back is a metallic casing that covers her spine. In costume she wears a sleek blue and gold bodysuit with a blue reflective visor and armored boots. Her arms are covered my cybernetically enhanced gauntlets.
Personality
Melanie often gives the impression of someone that's confused. Her voice sounds sleepy and husky and she has a tendency to ramble if no one stops her. She also tends to be a rather blunt person and straightforward, saying whatever is on her mind without taking into consideration what she's saying. She tends to have trouble making decisions and can appear indecisive about things that affect her personal life. She's also very forgiving, perhaps expecting others to repay that favor in kind.
Background
A wild child, Melanie Coral was a high school drop out and troublemaker who ended up caught in the wild world of henching. While working for a group called Ouroboros she was badly injured in a battle with superheroes, paralyzed and suffering nerve damage. Due to her loyalty (and connections to the higher ups) she was able to get some cut rate cybernetics installed and has had to scrape and save to afford to be upgraded through the years. After ending up a brainwashed enforcer for a cult called Citizens of Sunshine Village she was rescued and reformed after a raid.
Currently she is part time hero forced to work as a bodyguard and enforcer for Neven Industries, who agrees to keep her cybernetics maintained in return for her services.
Powers and Abilities
+Cybernetic Implants: Crash Fist's cybernetics provide...
-Super Strength: Crash can lift close to five tons while wearing her augmented arms.
-Super Durability: Crash's bones are reinforced with a sturdy, stainless metal mesh and her body has gone through chemical treatments that make her all around tougher.
-Chemical Stimulant Pump: Crash's spine has been modified to produce chemicals from stimulants that boost her reaction time to painkillers to antidotes for toxins and bacteria in her system.
-Increased Recovery Rate: Crash's body has been altered so that it produces chemicals that help her recover from physical damage quicker and stave off fatigue.
-Combat Skills: Crash Fist is a fighter, having picked up a variety of combat techniques during her time as a henchman. She is a skilled hand to hand fighter and a good shot with a variety of firearms.
-Mechanics: Even before becoming a minion for dangerous criminal elements Crash had an interest in mechanical engineering and firearms. During her time on the wrong side of the law she sharpened these skills on some rather advanced equipment and is a solid mechanic and gunsmith with knowledge of mundane and exotic firearms.
Equipment
-C 503 Heavy Arms: The Heavy Arms are external cybernetic prosthesis that fit over her normal arms, attaching to plugs set into them. These arms give her highly augmented strength and contain a variety of gadgets including an extendable shield, electronic interface cords and rockets that allow for jet assisted jumps.
-Linked Visor: Crash's visor is synced with her arms and spine, giving her updates on her body's condition and cybernetic stability. It also provides her with some eye protection and can provide her information from electronic sources.
Weaknesses
-Cybernetics: Like most cyborgs, Crash is vulnerable if her cybernetics are damaged. They are shielded from outside interference, but some of her parts are vulnerable to things that would affect mechanical objects and run on an internal power source within her body.
-High Maintenance: Crash's cybernetics take a lot of maintenance to keep her up and running. These days they are extremely high performance and high grade, but that just makes them even pickier. She sometimes complains she's going to become a garage queen.
-Dependency: Crash relies heavily on the chemical pumps in her spine to get her through the day. She also has to frequently inject herself with a highly addictive chemical provided by Neven Industries that keeps her body from rejecting her cybernetics and keeps her nerve damage in check.
