Just before school broke up for summer vacation, Malorie and her classmates were taken on a class outing to nearby Millenium City as part of a project they had been assigned on the recovery of the city following the alien attack. While visiting the museum in Memorial Park, a large robot decided to stage an attack outside. Malorie and several others were trapped inside the building as a battle raged in the courtyard outside. Peering around the door to try and see which of her favourite heroes had turned up to fight the mechanical fiend Malorie was struck by a blast of electricity from the robot and thrown backwards into the museum, landing awkwardly amongst the exhibits. Everything suddenly went from blinding light and deafening noise to darkness and silence.

| Just before school broke up for summer vacation, Malorie and her classmates were taken on a class outing to nearby Millenium City as part of a project they had been assigned on the recovery of the city following the alien attack. Waking up later in Mercy Hospital, Malorie found herself without any serious injuries, however her hair had turned from its natural brown to pure white. Malorie would often look up to find one of her doctors, a [[Crimson Fury|Dr Firestorm]], looking at her oddly. It was the same expression Malorie would often see on faces of classmates as they worked on a particularly difficult maths problem. Malorie dismissed this as simply being surprised that such a small body could survive the massive release of energy undamaged. Malorie was released home a few days later, and returned to her normal life and school work a few days before Summer Break began. For a short time she felt like a celebrity as schoolmates would cluster around to hear the story of her miraculous escape.

| Waking up later in Mercy Hospital, Malorie found herself without any serious injuries, however her hair had turned from its natural brown to pure white.
