Appearance
Outside of the armor Brian is a tall, somewhat slim man with blonde hair and unusual golden eyes. He likes to dress comfortably and only wears suits if he absolutely has to (like when he's called in to deal with his duties at Treyhill Industries).
The Midas armor is a bulky suit of golden armor with deep blue sections.
Background
Midas is the nickname given the powered armor suit piloted by Brian Treyhill, the wealthy, thrillseeking heir to the Treyhill fortune and top shareholder of Treyhill Industries, a metallurgical research and technologies company. Inspired by other power armored heroes and eager to face off against super powered foes, Brian has joined the ranks of Millennium City's superheroes to fight crime and show off his fancy new toy while doing it.
Personality
Brian is polite, excitable and eager to experience life up close and personal. He seems to be enjoying his new super hero career immensely and is always eager to absorb knowledge from his fellow crimefighters, making him seem somewhat younger than he is. He's a thrillseeker and loves the challenge associated with piloting a suit of powered armor and fighting super criminals.
Even though he knows what he's doing is dangerous, he has a bad habit of treating it like a game, a trait many don't appreciate.
Abilities
Despite his small frame, Brian is in rather good shape. He's also decently good at piloting power armor and has a basic grasp of how to keep such things running if they're similar to the Midas armor.
Equipment
The Midas armor (actually the MDAS- Mobile Defensive Armor System) is created and maintained by a special team made up of many brilliant inventors and experts in the field of powered armor. It runs on clean, effecient and most importantly safe, miniaturized fusion reactors that power the suits many weapon systems. The Midas armor projects waves of sonic and force energy to incapacitate foes as well as featuring disruptive energy projection points in the wrists and chest capable of causing intense pain to targets caught in their blasts.
The armor is also able to fly at speeds exceeding 800 mph and is highly resistant to damage, being made of a high grade and top secret alloy being developed by Treyhill industries that integrates several close force barriers to further improve it's stability in flight and protect it from hazards. It is sealed from most environmental hazards and allows Brian to remain comfortable in both extreme heat and cold as well as being highly resistant to extreme pressure and has an internal air supply that is good for several hours of use.
Nemeses
-Platinum: Brian's sister has always been more than a little unstable. As a child she was cruel, spoiled and sadistic and it only got worse after their mother left and their father died. On finding out her brother had a suit of armor, she wanted one for herself. After getting it she decided she didn't want to copy her brother and instead began a crime spree, mostly just causing damage for kicks and trying to show her big brother that her armor is better. She's kept who she is secret from everyone but Midas so far... but it's quite possible she'll reveal both of their secrets on finally being brought down just for the hell of it.
Trivia
-Brian is well known for his adventurous behavior. He has climbed mountains, sailed the oceans solo and gone on hunting trips around the world. He was also known for being rather generous to his friends up until recently. The MDAS Project ties up a good portion of his funds.
-His uncles are unaware of his current venture and it's quite possible they would be quite upset if they figured out what he was really spending his money on. Neither of them are really against superheros but they would likely be against their nephew engaging in such unusual behavior.
-Is pretty upset that his "nemesis" is his sister. He suspects that some members of his team that left after the Midas Armor was finished are behind her suddenly gaining a suit of her own. He finds this possibility very irritating and more than a bit worrisome.
