Appearance
Aliana is 5'8", has a slender build, long black and green hair and green eyes. Her ears are very long and pointed and she bears the code '4298 B-2' on the back of her neck (though this is usually covered).
She is commonly seen dressed in a dark blue-green colored uniform with a short skirt and cap, but also has a suit of intimidating black and gold armor for more serious situations.
Background
Very rarely there are defects in the clones produced by the Elsinnari military. Usually, those with defects are discovered while young, terminated and their genetic material returned to their ships cloning vats to be used as raw material. Sometimes however... these defects catch the attention of certain members of the science crew who take them on as projects. Aliana was one of these fortunate clones. From the Corvai Progenitor, Aliana showed surprising adaptability and individuality. Though this individuality annoyed her commanding officers, it amused their bored superiors.
Unfortunately, the novelty was starting to wear off. Despite Aliana getting fast tracked to the rank of corporal, she started becoming a nuisance. One that they couldn't get rid of without the orders of the science officers that had originally stayed her termination. All of which refused to give it. They found a compromise in the form of a rarely used form of survival training that involved the smarter clones being dropped off on lower tech worlds to learn to survive. This would get her out of everyone's hair as well as allow them to collect data on how she interacted with others of a different species.
And so Aliana found herself on Earth, her training set for an undetermined length of time. She's doing her best to adjust to an alien world. All the while she's being monitored and judged. Who knows? Maybe one day the defective clones material and information will even be deemed worthy of being returned to homeworld to improve the Corvai line.
The Elsinnari
The Elsinnari come from a planet several systems away that is overgrown with unique trees that bathe the night in neon lights and power their various machines and devices. They are a decadent and lazy people that reap the benefits of massive clone armies they send into space to earn them wealth. They are ruled by three noble families that set all the laws and rules for society, the members of which are clones made from the genetic information of the original ruling families. In fact, the Elsinnari make extensive use of cloning technology, so much so that less than 20% of the population is born through natural means and it's considered highly unusual to not do at least a little genetic augmentation on newborns.
There are one hundred progenitors that modern Elsinnari come from. Of these progenitors, around a quarter are dedicated to the military, including the Corvai (Star Infantry), Halaka (Heavy Weapons and Artillery), and Kilimi (Starfighter pilots). Science lines such as the Tariva (spaceflight tech) or Brinka (biological sciences) are highly respected and are considered second only to the ruling families due to their importance. The three ruling lines are the Gilsais, Stalkam, and Gilair and have not been challenged in over two thousand years.
The Elsinnari that live on the homeworld are much different than the members of the military, which are the ones that are most commonly encountered. While those on the homeworld do their best to be individuals despite their method of birth, this isn't encouraged on their ships and there is little variation in personality and appearance amongst those that serve in the military. These clones also rarely see the homeworld and most have a limited ability to adapt beyond their specified role and training.
Their military mercenaries are fairly well known for being ruthless, willing to follow orders and of course, expendable. Their weaponry and armor is effective and generally well maintained but it's mostly their numbers and imprinted training that makes their soldiers dangerous. Their ships, despite running on the odd plants that power most of their stationary technology and devices, are highly advanced and loaded with powerful weaponry.
Personality
Aliana often comes off as stiff and overly formal, with a tendency to call everyone 'sir' or by proper rank when it's available to her. She's a corporal, after all, and needs to look professional.
However, she has a tendency to become easily flustered and becomes very defensive if people imply she's doing something wrong. She finds anything having to do with personal contact and relationships very embarrassing
Powers
-Engineered Body: As a clone made by the Elsinnari military, Aliana is highly resistant to diseases and toxins, doesn't need much food or water to survive and boasts agility and reflexes above human average, and surprising strength for woman of her build and height.
-Elsinnari Traits: As an Elsinnari, Aliana has superior hearing and vision when compared to a baseline human.
Skills and Abilities
-Imprinted Training: While Aliana was being created, imprinted memories from her progenitor and all the other information gathered from previous generations were passed down to her. Despite some unfortunate mistakes made during her cloning process, she still has a high degree of skill and experience in working with firearms, blades and advanced technology.
Equipment
-Rail Pistol: Standard for Elsinnari Star Infantry, the rail pistol is a heavy duty piece of advanced hardware with extremely high range, penetration and reliability. Though more well suited for close and medium range combat, Aliana can pull off impressive shots at a distance thanks to the weapons use of rail gun technology and her excellent vision.
-Heat Blade: The edge of this sword are normally rather dull, but on activating the weapon they become super heated, giving it high cutting power and even allowing it to deflect laser weaponry if needed.
-Coil Grenades: Grenades filled with thick, high durability metal coils. They tend to rapidly spring out and snare whatever target they're thrown at once released and have a low rate of accidental fatality.
-Personal Teleporter: Though not capable of consistent use, the teleporter that Aliana carries with her is capable of taking her to coordinates almost anywhere on the planet.
-Elsinnari Armor: Aliana's armor is heavy and capable of providing protection from most mundane weaponry. It is also highly portable, capable of turning itself into a small sphere when not in use.
Weaknesses
-Defective: Technically, Aliana is a defective clone. This left her less competent than she should be and she's a bit self-conscious since deep down, she knows this. It also explains her tendency to become easily flustered and embarrassed.
-Rigid: Aliana has a very rigid and regimented way of thinking that tends to make her seem cold at times. She focuses on causing damage and performing quick, efficient takedowns over forming more complex plans.
Trivia
-Hates fish. Especially fish people or giant fish. They creep her out.
-She says she's on a 'training mission' on Earth, but it's quite possible she's in a kind of mini-exile for running over a superior officers pet.
-She is often mistaken for an elf and this makes her very pouty. She also greatly dislikes people saying she's cute or mentioning that she's attractive. She's a finely honed killing machine!
