Nina is a fire spirit who took on her physical form decades ago to help heroes fight evil magic users. Millenia of wisdom make her a great leader, but also leave her somewhat aloof, so she works alongside other heroes to keep her grounded. Her fire magic is powerful and can even be used to heal allies.

History
Nina is a spirit originally summoned to help a team of superheroes defeat a lich in 1943, when she was known as The Firebird. She remained a part of the team until 1968, when it disbanded.
She faded into obscurity and eventually departed for the spiritual realm, but was summoned again six years ago by LEAF to rescue a group of hikers who had been captured by VIPER. Firebird stayed in the material realm to become a superhero again, and has since become an ally of LEAF and UNTIL, as well as founded the supergroup The Order of Hope.
