Demonette is a demon chained to the mortal realm, who has been serving UNTIL for a decade. She was a relatively weak demon in Hell, but combat training has since enhanced her magical abilities and turned her into a powerful mage on Earth.

History

Indigae-Feral's name is the source of her slave nature. Anyone who speaks her full name will take over ownership of her, which is why UNTIL keeps her name a secret.

Summoning

Indigae-Feral existed in the demonic realms as a servant to powerful demon lords. She was not a well-educated citizen of the realm, and relatively young in comparison to most demons.

A group of teens in Michigan stole a demonic book from an arcane library to experiment with dark magic. They decided to perform a ritual to summon a demon from the infernal realm. In order to do so, they had to learn their subject's true name and devise a way to chain the subject to the mortal realm.

They succeeded in their task, and called forth Indigae-Feral, who didn't even understand what was happening, let alone how to resist their summons. Shocked by their easy success, the teens were unprepared to subjugate the demon, and she attacked and killed three of them. Only two, Houston Moore and Jasmine Lee, survived and fled. Moore went into supernatural witness protection, and Lee went on to become the supervillain Hellfire.

UNTIL Capture 

Indigae-Feral was on the lam while the teens' deaths were investigated. It took her some time to get used to existing in the mortal world, especially with the limited knowledge she had of this alien place. Eventually she was cornered by an UNTIL unit in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Detroit.

She was contained in a magic holding facility while she was interrogated and studied. Since two of her summoners survived, she was still chained to this realm until they released her, and Jasmine Lee was nowhere to be found.

Her ability to reason impressed UNTIL, and she was interviewed by multiple arcane experts. It was decided she would serve UNTIL as an advisor on demonic activity, helping the organization track and capture demons whose power manifested as threats to mortals.

Personality

Demonette is a humble, soft-spoken person, except when it comes to appearance. She loves the pursuit of beauty and self-care. Bath bombs are a gift from the gods.

On a mission she hangs back until told to move up. She's more of a supporter than a leader and, despite her stature, is a small presence on the battlefield.

Hellfire

One of the survivor's of Demonette's summoning ritual over 10 years ago, Jasmine Lee has since made pacts with other demons to enhance her mutant pyrokinetic abilities and give her spellcasting powers as well. Obsessed with finding and killing Demonette, Hellfire seeks revenge and to prove her power.
