In the meantime, he employs the help of superheroes to help him track down leads and uncover neuroscientific secrets supervillain organizations like VIPER may be hiding.

With the help of psionic superheroes, Felix was granted telepathic abilities to help him communicate, as his cat body cannot reproduce human speech.
List of Powers
- Telepathic communication, individually or in an area
- Psychic control of a high-tech hoverdisc
- Sharp claws
Early Life
Felix was always an overachiever. Growing up in Minnesota raised by a single mother who utilized a high-IQ donor, he questioned each and every reaction he saw in the world, from why the grass moved in the wind, to how people's brains were powered. To an intellectual, Felix's life seemed vibrant and busy, but to a layman it seemed utterly wasted.
Felix's adult life was spent earning Ph.D's and getting essays published. It seemed no matter what he applied himself, in physics, chemistry, or biology, he excelled--but few "new" discoveries were ever made in his long, long academic career.
The Pswitcher
Felix somehow got himself married to Dr. Gina Juimont, a neurosurgeon whose ambition was matched only by her strength of character. He spent a huge portion of his wife's income on what was to be his thesis project in Psionic Studies: the cheerfully named Pswitcher. The intent of the machine was to use unattuned psionic energy to let two people share their thoughts psychically regardless of telepathic ability.
Of course, he tested it on himself and his wife Gina. Gina had a cat, a big fluffy Maine Coon named Butterscotch. Butterscotch liked to sit in Gina's lap whenever he could. And so what else would happen but Butterscotch jump onto his mama's lap just as the Pswitcher was activating? The machine targeted the cat's consciousness instead of Gina's, and the massive difference in cognitive ability between Felix and Butterscotch confused the system terribly. Instead of sharing an even amount of information between the two minds, it dumped all of Felix's consciousness into the cat, and put the leftover cat thoughts into Felix's body.
Life as a Cat
It's difficult to communicate as a cat. After the initial trauma, Felix had to figure out how to manipulate his stubby paws to function like hands so he could write or type. Through text, he managed to contact fellow scientists and a few psions to help him.
One year into the process of trying to reverse the Pswitcher's effects, his kitty paws signed divorce papers. Being married to a cat is even harder than communicating as one, and Gina had things to do.
Felix eventually gained telepathic speech thanks to some psionic superheroes and a sorcerer.
To call Felix an absent-minded professor is a bit of an exaggeration. He's actually quite alert, but consciously chooses the wrong priorities sometimes. For example, he prefers to work an entire night rather than sleep and risk forgetting a few important calculations. His nocturnal habits have only been encouraged since his cat-ification, too.
Felix uses big words and long sentences. He takes a while to get to the point. He's calculating and aloof in most aspects of life and conversation alike, and reluctant to commit to anything.
Aethelweard
Aethelweard is a sorcerer and adviser to the Trismegistus Council. He aided Felix in gaining telepathic abilities, and afterward the two became good friends. Aethelweard continues to help Felix regain his human body, but is also a confidante. In return, Felix has helped Aethelweard in the creation of spell formulae and scholarly pursuits.Neocortex
A powerful psion who lacks social graces, Neocortex was discovered in a laboratory by a group of superheroes. He was in an induced coma but recovered perfectly fine, except he can't remember anything from before he was 20 years old. He has several strange features including no hair, glowing pink eyes, and the ability to speak over 30 languages fluently.
Dr. Bionotic
A charismatic intellectual, Dr. Bionotic has often tried to recruit Felix to her side. However, she has only personal gains in mind, and doesn't care about immoral sacrifices being made to achieve those gains.
At Large
Prevailor
Prevailor's ultimate goal is to prove the superiority of magic over technology, and believes inventions will be the downfall of planet Earth. He's obsessed with destroying technological centers and killing inventors in order to stop the apocalypse.
At Large
- Dr. Felix Frisk can speak and read Latin as fluently as is possible.
- Felix's ability to stand on two legs is very limited, as it's not very comfortable on a feline spine, but he can walk like that if he concentrates.
- With his feline senses, Felix can identify thousands of chemicals and bacterias by scent alone.
