Personality
A common trait amongst her people is the enjoyment of practical jokes, nothing that would harm anyone of course, but she loves a good one. She's quiet and friendly and will politely ask before copying a voice to speak. Most of the time she communicates in ASL which she was able to learn from UNTIL when she arrived on the planet.
Background
Ari'ryl is a Vhexzelbralg, a diverse race of shapechangers able to assume the features of other humanoids. Also known as "Changelings", a Vhexzelbralg's talents breed mistrust and fear, leading many of them to hide their true nature from even their closest companions. Many "changelings" seek only to avoid unwanted attention and to find a place in the world. Ari'ryl is no exception to this and is very capable of morphing her body into almost anything including other people, animals; she can even just morph parts of her body into weapons and armor.
Back on her planet she was a student before escaping off planet posing as a different race. Over the course of several years she held numerous positions but found that she was a natural shot and became a weapons officer aboard a cargo freighter. The captain knew she was a changeling but never brought it up to the crew knowing the prejudice many shapeshifters experience. While aboard she used a computer to comminucate with people through a neural link which would put her thoughts to words.
Her seemingly peaceful days aboard the freighter ended when an alien vessel of unknown origin raided the freighter. Completely blowing her cover by turning her body into weapons and armor, she fought off the boarding parties to the best of her ability while the rest of the crew managed to escape into the main lifeboat leaving just her and the captain aboard. She met the captain in the engine room and they set the engine core to overload. Upon reaching the it however a rifle hit from a member of one of the boarding parties killed the captain, ignites a plasma conduit, and sent Ari flying into the escape pod.
It launched and she saw that the attacking ship had destroyed the other lifepods and had expected the same to happen to her but when the engine on the freighter overloaded and destroyed both vessels. Setting course for the closest habitable planet, Earth, she reverted to a liquid state to conserve energy. A few weeks later she arrived on Earth and began aclimatizing herself with the help of UNTIL. They taught her ASL and gave her a special smartphone/tablet like device to communicate with a well. She often browses youtube to find voice.
All of that was 2 years ago and since going through UNTIL's acclimatization program she has taken up the name "Ari Silver" and lives a fairly normal life even becoming the drummer for the band "Fierce Temptation Foundation".
Powers & Abilities
Organic Metallic Skin
An ability that is not seen in her race and seems to be unique to her is that her skin cells have metallic properties. This property gives her skin, in her natural form, a silvery shine from which she's taken her human surname and alias from. This also gives her a natural set of dermal armor that can resist almost any attack.
Shapeshifting
Like most of her species Ari is capable of turning her body into just about anything that's not a mechanical device with moving parts. One of her favorite thing is imitating Earth's wildlife.

Vocal Replication
Ari was the only person she knew who was born without a voice of her own but she had the ability to mimic the voices of others and imitate sounds such as animal noises and even explosions (used in more than one practical joke). Any sound she hears they can replicate with perfect clarity along with any manner the sound was made.
Weapon Physiology
Ari can can transform any part of her body into a weapon to use in combat. She often manifests this ability in turning her arms/hands into swords and axes.In addition to this she can also harden her skin into armor.
Weaknesses
Fire Burns: Given the metallic properties of the cells in her body, she is susceptible to fire based attacks and anything that can generate large amounts of heat.
Mind on, Apply Directly to the Psyche: Ari has Little to know resistances to psychic powers.
Magic Missile: Similarly she has little to no protection from magic based techniques.

- Nick Turchino - A good friend of hers and one of the two guitarists in the band she's in.
- Ericka Anderson - Ari lives with Ericka and her boyfriend Andy. Ericka is the lead singer and the second guitarist of the band.
