Appearance

Lexis' appearance varies as wildly as her vocation. For the most part, people see her in oiled white and grey cloth, often dirty from recent work.

Other times, she can be seen in more practical combat gear whenever she finds herself in such situations.

Brief History

Lexis Vance was a mechanic for Sierra Desert, a Private Military Company in her own timeline. This PMC would eventually lend their support to the Vanguard when they arrived, which is how she met Kyna. They worked together extensively, mostly while Kyna suspected M of slipping into an omnicidal phase as his methods became more extreme. Using their resources and intellect, they helped hold him back from what could have been catastrophic destruction.

Recent Affairs

Lexis has recently arrived in this timeline after not having seen Kyna for many years. While Kyna works on following Matthias around, Lexis is currently working on re-establishing Shadowcrest Shipping Company, a weapons manufacturer. This will take some time, as one needs a product and funding before they are able to publicize themselves.
Their niche is "enchanted" weaponry, infusing their weaponry with shadow magic to have painful effects on enemies.

Personality and Lifestyle

She is an evenly tempered woman, though she can be a bit of a workaholic. She reveled in her work, always tinkering, inventing, and editing mechanical works. She helped design many of the more popular transport units, including the Vanguard's space-faring hovercraft that transports troops around.

Lexis is much more jovial than her wife, and it's often a topic of conversation as to why such a friendly woman married Kyna, who is immensely more stoic by comparison. Given that their love was hardly instantaneous, she often answers with a simple "She grew on me."
She has a more straightforward sense of humor, much of it based around puns. They both amuse and infuriate her friends and family.

Powers / Abilities

The standard far of Trahl'es'das abilities.

She is not as much of a combatant, but has received some martial training from her wife. Still, her skills are best used at ranged. She's a decent shot with a pistol and sniper rifle, which are the two weapons she is most comfortable with. She's decent in melee in a pinch but it is not her ideal situation.

Weaknesses

As per being a Trahl, she is weak against Holy/Light/Radiant energies. Even to the extent of becoming sick in the presence of a concentrated amount of it.

The sun lessens her abilities, though her non-magic skills can usually compensate.

If her innate shadow abilities are debilitated (in extremely rare occasions, this is not something than be "turned off"), everything she is able to do is brought down to human-like.
