PERSONALITY
Very outgoing. Derrek tends to make friends and Allies wherever he is. Though some consider his outgoing nature to be 'annoying'
HISTORY
Derrek had a good childhood, with a loving mother and father. He went to school just like everyone else... but in him he harbored a secret. Derrek was a unique person and a physical impossibility. He was a half Werewolf, half Human Hybrid. He didn't fit in with his pack, the other wolves where too rough, calling him weak. He didn't fit in with normal humans because of his eyes and hair being so different. Instead, he had his books. He studied and, at the young age of fourteen, was already college bound. It was then that he first learned to use his hybrid form. Looking more like a large, hairy human then a werewolf, he took the name 'Wolvesbane' and donned a mask, fighting crime with his first superteam ( It had no name, members included the catgirl android 'Neko-13', a radiated powerhouse named 'Captain Cosmic', a power armor using vigilante named 'Warhound', a psionic named 'Empath', and a wizard by the name of Mystic Moldherm )
Eventually, the group went their separate ways. All of them, except Wolvesbane, went to Millennium city. Wolvesbane stayed behind to finish his college courses and earn his degree's in Genetics, Biology, and Chemistry. After completing his bachelors course he felt an emptiness and longing for more hero work. The town was all but void of supercrimes. He transferred to a college in MC, and has been fighting crime there ever since.
After joining the superhuman security company known as 'MIST' ( Metahuman Investigations and Security Team ) he was reunited with his old team mates, and given a steady income ( Something every college student needs ). This is where he also met his current girlfriend, Nana, the sister of Neko-13.
It was about a year later that Wolvesbane began to shine.
It was late one night, after one of his many wins against the werewolf supervillain 'Swiftclaw', he was lured into a parking garage, and and attacked by a gang of about 50 Dogz led by Black fang himself. Derrek managed to unlock his ability to use his full werewolf form in that fight and learned of his amazing regenerative powers. If not for them the young hero would have died several times over in that fight. The hybrid wolf was now stuck in a strange Werewolf form with new found strength and regeneration. He redefined himself as one of the worlds most stalwart hero's after meeting Thundrax, and taking some inspiration from his Canadian comrade. He began teaming with big time hero's, and not long after, he was invited to join Starforce and the Champions.
Derrek instead took a 'reservist' position. And to this day continues to fight crime, and global catastrophe.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
Wolvesbane has the ability to shape shift into three separate forms:
Human form where he has just above human strength, speed, and agility.
Hybrid form, he looks like a hairier then normal human with pointed ears.
'Full Wolf' form, although he doesn't look like your average werewolf, he retains all ability's of one. His regeneration is powerful in all three forms.
His Regeneration is where his real strength lies. Since discovering the ability, he's taken a bomb at point blank, been mowed down by a 5mm Gatling gun, blasted by several different types of magic, weaponry, and caught on fire. All he's been able to shrug off, and heal from in a matter of seconds.

Black Fang, Swift Claw, Guy Sweetland, Mechassassin, The Brain Trust, Ankylasaur, Armadillo, Therakial ( After helping to thwart his plans twice ) And several other villains.

ROLEPLAY HOOKS
Derrek is a seven foot tall, Half werewolf Lycanthrope in his full form. It's easy to notice him. He's also at this point globally known due to his recent work around the globe with The champions, and should be easily recognized in both form because of it.
In his human form, He has silver white hair, and yellow eyes. Making him distinguishable from normal humans.
Derrek is still a geek at heart, and talk about such things may glean a reaction from him.
Derrek is fiercely loyal and protective of his friends, messing with one my grant a violent reaction from him. Furthermore, Messing with his girlfriend, Nana, will often start at the very least an argument.
TRIVIA
-Wolvesbane has superhero friends from all walks of life.
He's even friends with a couple alien superhero's who visit yearly.
-Wolvesbane is capable of holding his breath for thirty minutes.
-Wolvesbane is a geek, and plays dungeons and dragons every Thursday night with a few of his friends.
