Vivian originates from a planet called Nitharael. The Nill'tas was always a peaceful race, having an odd obsession with inventing. Vivi was no exception to this. At a young age, she became absorbed in the fascination of how things worked. She often would be found with her father, who was glad to teach her about things. She eventually distanced from his teachings, however, as she became more interested in weaponry. She took to learning how to harness certain things to optimize efficiency. She eventually made herself a gauntlet that had the ability to use electricity/ Content with her own personal weapon, she specialized it to become a failsafe. The gauntlet was equipped with a teleporter as a final touch up to it.
She never got to use her inventions until Nitharael was attacked by the Qularr. The girl was thirteen when the ships rained down on the planet. Most of her race died in this assault. Her failsafe activated and she was teleported off of the planet, disappearing onto Earth a few years before their own invasion. Lost and devastated, the young Vivi roamed around before finding herself in Vibora Bay.
Upon entering this place, she quickly fell in love with the look Vibora Bay had. Exploring the place, she scavenged for parts to make her own inventions. She sold a few and got on her feet, becoming comfortable with Earth in time. When she found Juryrig, she decided to learn under his influence. As a result, she picked up a slight pranking habit.
On a trip to Millennium City, she found a chance to exact her revenge on the Qularr as they tried invading Earth as well. With a carefree personality, she considered her family revenged as she destroyed the aliens to her best ability. From this, she became somewhat interested in the UNTIL. As a side job to her own inventing, she began making weaponry for the organization to use.
