Hello my name is SouthernNerd and I'm......a nerd. Kidding aside I want to thank you and welcome those who are coming to this page. This little neck of the woods is my little corner to express a brief history of my career with video games and what my roster consists of. I have always been an imaginative person, when I was little in the 1990's there was barely any TV and no video games. My little brother and I spent the night participating what we know today as "Verbal Role Play". It is what helped us fall asleep and it was the seeds planted that would grow into the forest that is my appreciation for the superhero genera. My first video game system was a Gameboy Color (Purple) and I had a copy of Pokemon Red; however, I would evolve and take interest in the video game genera. It has become a hobby I enjoy greatly and still participate in today.
My interests with all things superhero started with (at my best guess) a little movie called "Daredevil". Yeah I know it was bad later in life, but that was my introduction into the fascination of super heroics and the idea of men and women doing great things. Over the years, I began to immerse myself into super hero genera related things until a game called City of Heroes/VIllains came out. I picked up a copy and got started; however, it wouldn't be too long until I got lost in the mechanics and was barely experiencing role play. Around 2010, there was a little game called "Champions Online" that arose that caught my interest and after making the plunge I fell in love with it. I still use it five years later to help express my creativity and let my ideas flourish among like minds. I hope to see y'all in game and hope y'all have a fantastic day.
