About Taarvin

History

The texts from long ago claim that Taarvin was a planet of unexplained natural beauty. Vast green fields, skies that painted the heaven with lovely color, and only divided by the geological and climatic environments. Taarvin wasn't always the peaceful, diplomatic planet as long ago it was covered with a alien force known as the Nicton. The Nicton were only known for their hunger as they spread, infected, and devoured entire races, species, and life forms. It made the planet uninhabitable and it was listed throughout the galaxy as a "Dead Planet"; however, something cosmic, unusual, and powerful occurred just suddenly. A white flash rocked the planet as at first the light was too much to gain a clear vision; however, soon the very stones, wind, fire, water, and lightening began to flow, paint, and form the lights into five forces of nature harnessed by sheer power and determination. Soon afterwards, the five forces began to purge, expel, and remove the Nicton from the planet and even created a large asteroid to isolate them and prevent them from infecting any more planets. The next job on their agenda was to populate the planet, each force traveled to the five distinct environments and created life in the stones, electricity, air, water, and lava. Soon the great lights disappeared; however, the people still remember their echoes and tales and came to give absolute respect to what they deemed "The Five Primordial Elements". The populace even gave names to each of the forces: Krongar "The Unmovable Mountain", Tor'Torunga "The Engulfing Flames", Varoosh "The Living Lightening Bolt", Barbactatos "The Free Winds", and Z'ar'tupis "The Dominant Waters" but soon the environment began to create five distinct cultures, identities, and lifestyles. The Arctic Tarvin was inhabited by the most scientific and brilliant minds of the planet Taarvin. They used their isolation to develop beneficial, impressive, and advanced technology as their means of trade and evolved their mastery of water to manipulate the ice and vapors around them. The Mountain Tarvin was formed into a mine region where strength was praised and ideal. The large earthen manipulators used their powers to crack the stones and extract the exotic minerals, materials, and fuel that the other Tarvins needed. The Volcanic Tarvin was tattooed with active volcanoes, lava domes, and lava beds that paint the territory. Here the residents practiced the lifestyle of relaxation and letting go of matters that would impede one's mind, body, and spirit. Overtime, it developed a sense of serenity that encouraged them to reach out to other planets and extend their hands to other races to pass the message of peaceful coexistence, harmony, and serenity

Geography

Taavin consists of five unique environments that split the planet into five factions of the Taarvinian race. It contains an arctic terrain with vast oceans that stretch out into rivers, lakes, and other sources of water; however, this is the coldest section of Taarvin. The volcanic area is filled with lava pits as the core of the planet has easy fracture points to release pressure, steam, and lava. With such means the area is almost inhabitable by normal life forms; however, Taarvinians have developed a thicker area around the lungs to filter the volcanic ash, the heated air, and the lack of breathable air to survive if they weren't born from this area. The mountain terrain is consistent with mines, deserts, and various mountain peaks overseeing much of the territory. The deserts surrounding the outside are harsh as the temperatures fluctuate between harsh heat and immense cold; however, the real danger exists with the creatures that live beneath the sands. The environment has produced creatures and citizens that are quite literally capable of smashing stone. Overtime, the territory is given an export of exotic minerals, stones, and fuel that are used by the scientific minds. The air region isn't as environmentally hazardous; however, it has tall peaks that barely scarce across the valley. It is almost impossible to climb up the peaks as the height is severally immense and the air gets thinner and thinner due to the altitude. The citizens born here use their wings and lungs efficiently as they can make the most of the limited air around them. The lightening valley is the last and it is an open field of grass, environmental peacefulness, and serenity; however, this is where the focal point of the planet's storms centralize at. Most of the planet's year consist of the lightening storms striking across the skies of the planet, due to this environmental "shield" the five factions dictated that the capital of the planet be here.

Biography

Plasmodius Gigaton 5th was born through the mutual love and treaty of two alien races. His father being Taarvinian and his mother being an alien who could manipulate the natural light spectrum. Upon his birth, his father had most of his childhood spent in the library where her honed and learned the diplomacy and political tactics of his people and to instill the importance that diplomacy and peace were far more effective than conquest and war. At the beginning of his maturity, Plasmoid discovered that he could manipulate the elemental powers of lightening as it was traditional to the royal family. His father helped assist and teach him how to harness the deadly and powerful element but in his spare time, his mother would often provide him breaks from his teaching and studying to go out and make friends, gain hobbies, and have a great childhood like any motherly figure would. Plasmoid was a prodigy in the practice of manipulating lightening and worked for years to maintain a steady control. When he was a teenager, his friend and him were out playing in the royal courtyard when they heard screams coming from the marketplace. Upon taking action, both Plasmoid and his friend managed to prevent a mugging from taking place and subdued the thieves to be apprehended. The two victims revealed themselves, which one of them took Plasmoid's heart, attention, and affection. Speechless, his friend managed to drag Plasmoid away but the woman still took residence in Plasmoid's thoughts, his mind, and even in his dreams. During his breaks, Plasmoid would often sneak out of the palace to talk to the woman and when he entered the last stages of his maturity he invited the young woman to the palace. Inside, a ball was taking place where Plasmoid was to select possible suitors but Plasmoid had no interest in the various women presented to him. Instead he snuck out with the woman he invited and shared a long talk in the gardens. There, he professed that he had fallen in love with her; however, she couldn't share the same affection with the royal house. She explained that while the royal family worked on diplomatic ties, the regions on the planet grew more divided and were far from what they were upon the formation of the Taarvinian culture. Plasmoid set his mind and professed that he would go out and try to unite the regions and upon his return hopefully her feelings for him would still remain. The next day, Plasmoid informed his father that he was taking a pilgrimage and set off into the desert that laid east of the palace.

Plasmoid wandered the deserts for months until he was discovered, captured, and delivered to the mountainous capital by a band of traders. Once inside, Plasmoid was sold as a gladiatorial contestant but Plasmoid neither had any real combat experience nor did he have the desire to fight. The first day was beyond brutal as Plasmoid was almost killed in the ring; however, a figure made completely of stones harder than diamond saved him and won their first bout. The figure explained that he was the son of the previous captain of the region but a coo had his father killed, him enslaved, and had the coo's leader take the position and turned the once majestic region into a region filled with bloodshed and fighting. Plasmoid shared his identity and history with the captain's offspring, and with much reluctance the pair soon kindled a friendship. It was here that Plasmoid learned that due to his heritage that he was able to manipulate more than one element as the captain's son felt the harmony between the very stones themselves and Plasmoid. Elemental Mastery

  • Elemental Manipulation
    The definition is that the user can create, shape and manipulate the basic elements of nature. Literally meaning to "Change Molecules", users of Elemental Manipulation are very rare and powerful. Capabilities may include moving, altering, and mixing existing elements or pull atoms together and create one atom from many others. Elemental Manipulation is the parent ability and power for many other elemental-based abilities and powers including Water Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Earth Manipulation, Air Manipulation and many others. Plasmoid can manipulate the five basic elements that exist in nature. Them being the elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, Water (and by technicality Ice), and Lightening. This isn't natural to his people; however, due to the mixing of his father's and mother's bloodline it allowed his manipulation to cover more areas than a Taarvinian of his born region can do. Overtime, he practiced the arts with several masters until he was able to manipulate many elements with such precision at the same time. Upon his arrival to Earth, his natural ability to manipulate and master the elements was cut severely to only allow him to focus on one at a time; however, he is fine tuning his skills to overcome this disability and regain the mantle of "Master Elemental".
  • Elemental Projection
    The definition is that the user can release/use elements/energy to attacks of various shapes and/or intensities, either projected, used as a part of melee attacks, etc. As part of his training, Plasmoid allowed his body and powers to unify, thus allowing him to move fluently with his attacks. He can range his attacks from shooting lightening bolts to releasing streams of fire. While he could combine the elements in his old body, his new body restricts that he only projects one at a time. The only element he can't create and project is the element of Earth; however, he can break apart the stones into dust and dirt particles to shoot and cover his opponents in a layer of dirt.
  • Elemental Absorption
    The definition is that the user can absorb elements/elemental forces, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etc., either temporarily or permanently. Plasmoid is able to absorb natural sources of fire, earth, water, wind, and lightening to a degree to either replenish lost stamina that he spent during a fight, use it for transportation, or even enhance his own physical abilities. An example of this is him coating himself with much more durable minerals. By doing this, he gains an enhanced durability depending on the mineral he has around him. His armor even mimics this to a degree as he is able to absorb ice/cold, fire/heat, and lightening through the metal and into his own skin. Like his powers, his ability of absorbing was cut severely due to his new body; however, his ability to absorb the elements is quite outstanding. UNTIL reports state that Plasmoid once was able to inhale the roaring fires of a building on fire and expel them in a safe location. Other uses for the absorption can include him creating constructs to absorb on a necessity, teleportation via absorbing the electrical pulses of his environment and traveling on the natural currents, and even sustain enhanced flight by projecting gale streams behind him.
  • Elemental Empowerment
    The definition is users become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. when they come in contact with elements, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may be able draw sustenance from the elements or even slow or stop aging.

    The following powers have been granted to Plasmoid; however, he doesn't realize this potential nor does he know how to utilize these abilities. Upon great stress, great need, or as a means of self-preservation his deep subconscious will turn these powers on which does inflict a great physiological change to both the armor and Plasmoid's aura

  • Cosmic Energy Physiology
    The definition is the user with this ability either is or can transform into a Cosmic Entity, a being who possesses powers so great they can affect entire worlds (or in some cases, entire universes.) If there is more than one such entity in a setting, there will usually be different levels of power between them, and often specific responsibilities as well, forming a kind of Fantasy Pantheon. Cosmic Beings tend to not care much about "lesser beings" (anybody who isn't 'cosmic') and any harm (or good) they cause is often unintentional."
  • Cosmic Energy Projection
    The definition is the user can release/use cosmic energy to attacks of various shapes and/or intensities, either projected, used as a part of melee attacks, etc., from huge rays of pure energy that can knock over or even obliterate dozens of targets, or slightly singe them."
  • Cosmic Energy Manipulation
    The definition is user can create, shape and manipulate cosmic energies to produce nearly any effect they desire, including the molecular restructuring and transmutation of matter, the manipulation of matter across space and time, the creation of force fields, the creation of inter-dimensional portals and vortexes, telekinesis, and cosmic awareness. User can call upon the comets, meteors, asteroids, stars, moons, planets, nebula, quasars, and dark matter. They can generate stellar winds, solar flares, cosmic storms and invoke meteor showers. User doesn't usually actually summon a planet/celestial object or control and manipulate its movement (as that would result in it being obliterated), but they can summon and control its energy.
  • Cosmic Energy Absorption
    The definition states, "The user can absorb cosmic energy, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etc., either temporarily or permanently. Various applications include channeling absorbed energy into strength, durability, regeneration or simple release of the energy from their body."
  • Cosmic Energy Empowerment
    The definition states, "Users become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. by cosmic forces, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may be able draw sustenance from the cosmic forces or even slow or stop aging."
