Nathan Brown was once best friends with David Gadley. Growing jealous of David's power, Nathan agreed to a deal with Teleios. In return for helping him aquire a sample of David's blood he would give Nathan superhuman abilities. Using David's blood as a catalyst, Teleios created a serum that increased Nathan's strength and durability. With his new found power, Nathan went to test his limits, leading to a confrontation with David. The fight was quick and ended in Nathan's defeat. Angry with himself and his power, Nathan made another deal with Teleios. In return for his loyalty, Teleios promised an experiment that would further his abilities. He used an experiment that exposed Nathan to massive ammounts of radiation. Nathan's size and muscle mass increased exponentially. With his strength and durability levels now incalcuable, Nathan turned on Teleios and stole their serum made from David's blood. Now going by the name, Ultimate, Nathan has set out to use the serum to create his own army.
