[hide]Who is Gol'eet the Earthborn??
"I? I am Gol'eet."
Synopsis
Gol'eet was created by a group of Nature Worshipping Druids with the intent to destroy the United States government and instituting 'a mass return to the world as dictated by Mother Nature'. One cultist brought their young daughter into the order's secret construction ground, where she added a single rose amidst the behemoth of stones, a head crested in iron and two eyes made of perfect sapphires. When the druids performed their ritual two things happened: One, they were stopped by a group of superheroes, and two the awoken golem started giving the heroes bouquets of roses and speaking in 'baby talk'.
Despite being twenty-two feet tall and with a face only a rocky monster mother could love, it quickly garnered the heart of the heroes that came to destroy it, and instead they were able to get it to shrink down to a normal human size and transported it to Millennium City. Educated and no longer speaking like a child, it works at a flower shop owned by a friend of its 'rescuers', and tends to either terrify, baffle, or cause people to go 'aw!' at it's antics...just do not get it angry.

Personality
Gol'eet speaks in a low tone that rumbles like an earthquake. It speaks slowly as if each word is a flower that must first be picked, making discussions feel like a day's worth of gardening if it doesn't keep itself brief. The longer a sentence is, the more likely it will end in a rhyme...an attempt to amuse the listener, no doubt. Gol'eet is a very patient individual who respects hard work, and is very open to hugs. Yes, you read that right: The big stone monster likes to give people hugs. If you befriend Gol'eet, expect it to try to hug you whenever it sees you. Gol'eet, despite it's rocky exterior, has all the innocence of a baby.
While it may be patient, Gol'eet doesn't like to be alone, and will talk to ANYTHING just so it doesn't feel alone: plants included. Being alone is the only thing that depresses Gol'eet.

Powers
Want Flowers?: Gol'eet enjoys tending to flowers grown by others, but it can also grow plant life instantaneously anywhere on it's body, and on any dirt nearby. When it walks across barren soil, plants tend to sprout and die off with each step, though the growths can be permanent if it pushes down on the ground. While it can grow flowers, grass, and large bushes, it does not grow trees. If asked why, it will simply say that it prefers the little things in life.
Wrath of Gaia: When in combat, Gol'eet's plant growing abilities no longer function, and instead shows its ability to manipulate stone and dirt as it creates fissures, quicksand pits, quakes of various sizes, stones for throwing or swinging. It rarely uses these abilities.
Abilities
Rock Hard Baby: Gol'eet is made of stone. He is big, he is heavy. He is the wall; he is the mountain. He is durable and you do not want to be on the receiving end of it's fists.
One with the Earth: Gol'eet can repair it's body with earthen materials. It can also change it's size but not it's form.
Weaknesses
You won't like me when I'm angry: Gol'eet is really hard to calm down once it gets angry, making it a large risk to innocent bystanders and heroes working alongside it.
