Darren Ulric O'Sullivan was an UNTIL scout sniper in the disaster response team. He was always scouting ahead of everyone else and did it alone. Not relying on a spotter. He completed four tours and sortied over in
different countries until he made it back home. Where he met Sarah McCormick. She was at a pub in Dublin when she met Darren. After Darren completed his third tour he came back to marry Sarah. They would then begin work on a family. Two boys. Connor and Nathaniel 'Sullivan. After completing his last tour they moved to Millennium City where Darren found work with a security firm. "Protective Tactics Inc." Darren was given this job thanks to UNTIL wishing to have him work closely with UNTIL itself. He was assigned by UNTIL to protect The Mayor. To him it meant finally being noticed for his efforts. What he didn't know? It was all a setup. Darren pissed off Argent when he thwarted MechAssassin.
They then made sure Darren was on the wrong side of town to abduct his wife Sarah and his two sons, Connor and Nathaniel. They were tortured and soon killed on a live broadcast playing infront of Darren as a warning. When Darren tried to leave? He was shot and killed. Six months later he was resurrected by VIPER by a ritual binding his soul to a totem. Turning him into a Lich. Forcing him to work with VIPER in secret while still being a hitman and vigilante on the side. His ability makes him the best assassin in his line of work as he hunts down those who murdered him and his family.
