Origins

((WIP)) Fathom is a Atlantean from an another world. Many speculate that this is an alternate Earth, as Fathom pays tribute to Greek Gods of Earth's history, though he does not share the same physiology of the Earth's Atlantean inhabitants. He proudly bears the Arc'nurai, a pair of ancient bracers said to contain the supernatural aspects of the Leviathan. It is these bracers that reportedly, grant him his amazing abilities.

Fathom's world was beset upon by dark and ancient forces of alien power and intent. Ready to consume his world for its rich resources and mystical endowments. These monsters lured many of the worlds inhabitants to its dark ways, and in time brought the world to a great civil upheaval. Andramadas was informed by his fathers scholars and wisened councilmen that the ancient artifact, the Arc'nurai was no myth, but a reality. Ordered by his father to retrieve the artifact at all costs, so that his father might use them to thwart the encroaching evil, Andramadas sought them out. He faced many dangers with his trusted brothers in arms, but was ultimately beset upon by overwhelming odds, once he discovered the secret location. Andramadas was forced to wield the ancient artifact himself to overcome the monsters, and became the legend Fathom.

Bearing the Arc'nurai was not enough to defeat the evils plaguing his world. His newfound powers only helped his people to even the scales, as Fathom fought side by side other empowered allies for his worlds future. The World broke down into a complete Global war.

The Evil intelligence behind the monstrous crimes, and horrors wrought upon the planet was never truly discovered, however, its whereabouts were. Fathom and many other heroes sought out the source of the darkness, and fought a heroic campaigne to infiltrate its stronghold and face it. their efforts were in vain, as they overcame the final threshold, traversing dimensions of existence, journeying to realms of primal and elemental power to reach it, the beast unleashed its mighty hand. It banished the heroes to the edges of oblivion, cascading them through time and space, forever to be trapped in limbo or so far removed as to never hinder its dark plans again...

The world was its for the taking...

And Now...

Fathom heralds from a world devoted to bringing a better world through example. His world was very aware that equal measures (solving violence with more violence) would never bring about the Utopia they desired. He has grown to believe further that those with power, must use it wisely, and for the betterment of all life, not the individual.

The human world of Earth is different in many ways from the world Andramadas knew, and discovering the social elements and exploring the new world presents unlimited possibilities!

OOC Information...

Deeply tanned and muscular male of foreign (slightly alien) appearance. Fathom is handsome by human standards, who heralds from a culture with different styles and beliefs then those commonly shared by intelligent life on Earth. He stands approximately 6'6" and weighs approximately 245lbs. Fathom always smells of scented oil and sea surf, carrying himself tall and proudly (some might joke almost "model-like") and almost always with a bright smile.

Andramadas is a proud and lively individual, coming from royal blood. Andramadas was a prince to the people of Merridia whom was both loved and respected. He carries himself with a air of diplomatic aloofness, (being surrounded by viziers and court officials, generals, etc) which seems at times like he expects many to know or understand things they perhaps do not. He is quick with a smile, and quick to provide morale encouragement.
