The Blue Arms Apartments

The Blue Arms Apartment building is a large housing complex in North West Side, owned by the vigilante street gang known as the Blue Family. It boasts safe, affordable housing and so far this claim has been true as the complex has started developing a reputation as one of the safest, albeit rowdy places to live in Westside.

The rowdiness is due mainly to the fact that the Blue Arms also serves at the Blue Family clubhouse with the first two floors of the west wing being dedicated to this purpose. A few Family members who had previously been transient have also moved into the building proper, although being owners rent isn't really an issue.

Nobody is exactly certain how the Blue Family obtained enough capital to purchase the building, but rumours abound as to the reason. Some argue that they didn't purchase it, they merely strongarmed the previous owners into giving them the deed. This theory has been largely disproven however, as a company named Blue Holdings, Incorporated, a thinly veiled front for the Family paid for the building through all official channels and even carries a business license for the building. the only real clue anybody has is the fact that the Cobra Lords seem to have an intense hatred of the building and have tried attacking the Blue Arms on multiple occasions.

Layout

1st Floor:

The Lobby:

When entering the Blue Family clubhouse people find themselves in a small, sparsely furnished lobby, usually with a prospect or younger member of the gang standing guard to keep out undesirables. For the most part 'undesirable' is defined as anybody not Blue, but like most Blue Family rules this can be waived whenever a member feels like it.

The Pit:

Once people get past the lobby, this is the first thing people see. A large room on the ground floor, the place is generally pretty empty except for an enclosed area in the middle colloquially known as "The Pit".

The Pit doesn't exist for anything specifically, it simply acts as a focal point for spectacle. sometimes it is used as an impromptu ring for fights, but usually it acts as a stage for Family members to express whatever's on their mind. Whether it's grievances, concerns or poetry everything is considered acceptable when in the Pit.

Needless to say, this is one of the more popular areas of the Clubhouse as it's almost always a source of entertainment.

The Office:

Officially the President's office, the lack of a Presidents has turned this area into a common room for members of the Executive Council to deal with the ever growing list of business dealings their 'legitimate' face requires. Unsurprisingly it's usually empty.

2nd Floor:

Rec Room:

As entertaining as The Pit can be, sometimes Family members need a chance to blow off some steam with something that doesn't consist of heckling or beating the crap out of each other. That's where the rec room comes in. Currently the room is pretty sparse, containing only a pool table and an old Galaga arcade machine somebody brang back from silicon hell, but the multitude of couches and tables allows for a wide variety of impromptu games and contests for Family to partake in. Plus, there's a bar.

Crash Space:

Sometimes something's going down and every Family member is needed at a moments notice. Or maybe someone just got too drunk and can't get home. Whatever the reason, that's what the crash space is for; a small room filled with mattresses and blankets, the crash space might not be the most glamourous place to sleep, but it gets the job done.

Meeting Room:

For all the fun and games, the Family does have a job to do and that requires organization and planning. What better place to do these things than in a meeting room? 'Nuff said.
