"Ka dos xun folbol, ajak ulu talinth bauth umbrenen p'los..."
When she lived she was a sensitive, beautiful and innocent elf who led a quiet life in a village called Elerendil, where she was born. Her parents always wanted everything good for her and her younger sister Naeriel so they tried to give them all the crucial knowledge every elf should posses. While her father thaught her the basics like reading, writing or enchanting runic scripts, her mother gave her moral wisdom which helped her build a view on the surrounding world. Lilith was always grateful for all the love her parents gave her so as soon as her little sister was born, she wanted to drown her in all the affection. Though she didn't know that their future relationship would be a bumpy ride...
When she was entering adulthood, she had a dream to travel around the world to see new places, meet new people, learn their cultures and to broaden her own horizons. Sadly the tough situation at home made it impossible to chase it. When both of her parents had to work, it fell to her to take care of the housekeeping. While she struggled with all the work, her sister enjoyed her duty free life which made Lilith feel like she was left alone.
Even though her duties took most of her day, the time spent on them didn't go in vain. It hardened her resolve and made her sharpen her most important trait. A trait that happened to have the biggest value in her life: patience. Despite the lack of help from Naeriel, she managed to run the house but in the end something inside her broke. For the first time she felt anger, the sense of injustice clouded her mind as she watched her sister chasing her own dreams. She wanted to be in her place, the envy was consuming her and finally it made her snap. Lilith confronted her sister in a long, heated argument which made them turn the love into grief. Naeriel was too young to understand her sister's feelings and ran away leaving Lilith devastated and this time truly alone. She wasn't proud of what happened but she felt like there was nothing she could do to prevent it.
Since Naeriel disappeared, regret haunted Lilith's mind on daily basis. Her heart became an empty crater filled with guilt with each day that passed without the sight of her little sister. Even her parents, after learning of what happened, didn't know how to help their embarrassed child. They decided to give her time to recover but, as it turned out, time was never in her favour.

"Treemma zhah dosst abbil... yibinss zhah dosst ogglin..."
Days, months and years passed until the Dark Age knocked to Elerendil's gates. It was then that the Dark Lord's army of the Damned started to conquest surrounding villages and towns. Every settlement they stumbled upon was razed to the ground to prove their power and leave the message of fear to those who dared to resist the will of their master. When news of the conquests came to Elerendil, people started to panic. Some of the villagers fled to save their lives leaving everything behind, some stayed to bravely defend their home from the horrific invaders. Among the defenders was also Syl'anar family but not because of their will to fight. They wanted to flee with the others but they didn't want to leave missing Naerdiel behind. Filled with greif and regret, Lilith couldn't wait any longer so she decided look for her sister before the Dark Army got to their village. Even though her parents knew her pain, they tried to stop her in fear of losing another child. They knew that traveling through the lands in such difficult times is a death wish, especially for someone as defenseless as Lilith. Despite their protests, she didn't give up and began her perparations as she believed that was the only way to heal the scar left from the past.
Even though Lilith's mind was set in stone, fate decided to cross her plans. Before she left, army of the Damned launched an attack on the village walls cutting off any escape routes. It didn't take long for the invaders to penetrate the defences as Elerendil's fortifications couldn't compare to the might of the dark army. Screams and scent of blood filled the air as the demonic spawns swarmed the town killing everyone and leaving nothing but rubble behind. Despite their efforts, village defenders couldn't repel the enemy forces and eventually fell to the twisted, demonic blades. The sight of home engulfed in flames made Lilith's heart freeze. Everything she loved crumbled right before her eyes, all the good people she knew, now laying in the dirt, choking with their own blood. Yet in all this chaos there was one thought that soothed her mind. The thought of her little sister being far away from there, perhaps somewhere safe.
Lilith accepted her fate, she was ready for the end, her own death. When she saw her father pierced by the blade and her mother laying motionless, she was paralyzed. This picture of pure agony was stuck with her until her last breath. It was that moment when she knew she truly had lost everything. Sadness, hatred, rage... they clung to her like flies to hound's back. She shouted, screamed and cursed as the demonic figures carried her to the altar built upon the ruins of her home, prepared in honor of their deity. She quickly realized, she was the last one who remained alive. It was a demonic custom to sacrifice the last enemy to their gods after successful conquer feed on the fear of the last survivor. When the dark priests prepared the ritual tools, the high warlock spoke on behalf of the Ra'hok - god of impure mind. He ordered them to perform the ritual of metamorphosis which was supposed to twist the purest into horrific beings.
Dark gods - Ra'hok and Kil'rash - liked Lilith's vulnerable nature so they "gifted" her with a new twisted form, one that would never know the meaning of peace. Her innocence became cruelty, her mercy turned into terror. The chains of her mortality shattered with a scream full of agony as her mind was filled with the power of her new masters. Once her transformation was complete, she was her old self no longer. She felt... stronger. As if she could bend the entire world to her will. Even though the husk of her life was left behing, she could finally feel alive. She fell to her knees as her new gods anointed her as the servant of the Dark Army. Since then she was known as the Mind Breaker.
Aftershock...
After transformation, Lilith struggled to find her purpose in the new reality shaped by her new masters. She didn't understand why they decided to make her one of their own instead of ending her existance. It took time for her to get used to her new form but the true challenge laid in harnessing the power of her mind gifted to her by Ra'hok. It felt like a constant battle between her desires and fears which she couldn't control. She wanted to push them out, to focus on her current needs but the memories of the past constantly swarmed her thoughts. She was no longer shackled by mortality yet she feld like an empty husk of her former self and she didn't know why. Wandering through the lands she was hoping to find the answer yet she only found more questions. Devastation left by the Dark Army in their endless conquest used to paralyze her but now it meant nothing. It used to feel wrong but now, she even enjoyed it and she couldn't understand why.
To dark gods, Lilith was just another puppet, a creation made to spread their influence to the distant realms and provide entertainment whenever they needed it. After toying with her for many years, they materialized before her to give her the answer she was looking for, or at least she thought she was. Ra'hok, the Dark Lord of Chaos gave her a sense of purpose by promising to unlock her full potential in exchange for servitude. He revealed to her the machinations of her powerful mind which paved the way to new possibilities. Tempted by the poisonous words of the charming god, she became his chosen and promised to fulfill the tasks given to her. She finally felt that the distant dream from the past could finally come to pass. Even if the circumstances changed so drastically...
From One Hell To Another
Being a chosen meant not only power but also responsibilities. Ra'hok didn't need her in the world already standing in flames, instead he found much better use for his new asset. He tasked Lilith with the infiltration of the worlds which were outside of the reach of the Dark Army. Her natural hunger for knowledge made her a perfect tool for gathering intelligence about the foreign worlds which she would deliver right into the Dark Lord's hands so he could use for his own schemes. Ra'hok showed her the doorway to the countless worlds with planet Earth among them, a human world which became Mind Breaker's first target. She felt the need to feed on the weaker minds, so she didn't hesitate to leave all she once held dear behind. She was ready for whatever awaited behind the veil of twisted reality but the Earth wasn't ready for her. The thrill of all the knowledge she could devour was so exhilarating she could barely stand it. She took a deep breath and went in welcoming whatever fate prepared for her.
Satisfied with the progress of his new chosen, Ra'hok turned his to other matters believing Mind Breaker was competent enough to confront her task without his help. However he didn't notice one fatal flaw in his plan. The more knowledge she gained, the less control he had over her mind, especially when she was outside of the Dark Pantheon's reach. With each devoured mind, Lilith learned a new skill that helped her escape the tight leash of her master and she didn't intend to be a pawn in the gods' theatre. She planned to break free to forge her own fate without any celestial influence but to make that happen, she needed time... and that elf was a patient one.
The Mind Hunt
![MB MindHunt.png](/images/thumb/a/a5/MB_MindHunt.png/350px-MB_MindHunt.png)
When the gate to Earth opened, many creatures unknown to human kind poured to the their world. From the simpliest organisms to the intelligent spieces escaping the dire shadow of war together with those who cast it upon them. For Lilith it was only a matter of time before the agents of the Dark Lord discovered her true intentions so she didn't want to waste a single minute. If her plan was to succeed, she needed to gather as much knowledge as she could. Only then she would be capable of masking her schemes from the piercing mind of Ra'hok. She knew the confrontation with his wrath was inevitable so she had to increase her chances for survival and to do that she needed to gather allies. Fortunately the world yet unknown to her was a home to various creatures of similar nature which could lend their aid if she managed to fall into their good graces. It was also full of those who would wouldn't welcome her evil existance so she needed a place to hide from the curious eyes. As she wasn't yet familiar with the foreign world, she didn't know of any places she could use as a base of operation so temporarily she had to blend into Millenium City's darkest corners to study humans and their culture from the shadows.
Even though she saw humans as a subrace, she admired the progress they achieved as a civilization. To her, seeing tall, glass skyscrapers for the first time was breath taking but also frightening. She didn't understand the technology surrounding her but she definitely saw its great potential. The promise of destruction it could bring was like a mental supper for her thoughts and her appetite was growing each day. Believing she could harness its power, Lilith decided to make her first move. Her hunger for knowledge demanded new victims and so the mind hunt was about to begin...
James McDoyer
"Dos xal zhaun vel'bol l'thalack zhah, jhal dos xuat zhaun vel'bol natha j'nesst..."
![MB JamesMcDoyer.png](/images/thumb/6/67/MB_JamesMcDoyer.png/400px-MB_JamesMcDoyer.png)
In her pursuit for power, Lilith knew she needed to understand her enemies if she was to survive in an alien world. The lack of understanding human technology put her at high risk of being quickly neutralized if she found herself in any kind of confrontation. She had to find a way to understand the system that keeps everything in order, to infiltrate military organizations and corrupt them from the inside. It didn’t take her long to stumble upon UNTIL, a global police institute responsible for fighting superhuman crime on Earth. Their influence in Millenium City was so vast that it instantly picked Mind Breaker’s attention. She wanted to learn more about them, to know their secrets and strategies but for that she needed an access to their headquarters which were guarded too well for her to slip through. If there was no way to get inside, she had to come up with a backup plan.
While watching UNTIL from the shadows, Lilith continued to devour minds of those who were unlucky to fall into her hungry for knowledge hands. Each of them made her understand human languages more and more to finally being able to communicate on comprehensible level. Despite her greatest efforts, she partially started to think like a human being which wasn’t her favorite outcome but she was ready to let it go if it meant to further her plans. Her patience once again proved to bear fruit as a key to UNTIL knowledge presented itself. A tall, handsome man dressed in a blue, formal suit with a face full of confidence appeared right in front of her eyes. His chest decorated with orders indicated he was among the higher ranks of UNTIL hierarchy which made him a perfect target. It was then that Mind Breaker realized she didn’t really have to get inside the building herself. All she had to do was take control of the man’s mind and use it to infiltrate the headquarters. For some reason he was alone as if he wanted to hide himself from prying eyes which confused her at first. It quickly turned out he had his own shady business with the Purple Gang which he wanted to hide from his supervisors for obvious reasons. His corruption was so delicious she couldn’t wait to taste his thoughts. Stepping out of the dark alley’s shadow with beautiful elven grace she swiftly released her psionic powers and wrapped them around his mind like a lasso. Caught by surprise he had no chance to defend from the piercing mental grip to finally become her possession, a tool she would use to progress her plan.
William Carrens
"Dos ph'pholudeq bauth l'zhaunil d'l'ilra'osett xuileb zhaunl l'thry..."
![MB WilliamCarrens.png](/images/thumb/b/b3/MB_WilliamCarrens.png/350px-MB_WilliamCarrens.png)
Even with one of their soldiers under control, infiltrating UNTIL proved to be a difficult task. While Mind Breaker could enter the building to gather information, her pawn wasn’t high enough in the hierarchy to access the most restricted areas. The one that picked Mind Breaker’s interest was a research lab where the most advanced intel was kept hidden from any unauthorized eyes. In her current situation, entering the lab seemed impossible so she had to find another way to get the knowledge inside into her hands.
She quickly realized that the only way to learn what’s inside was to either take control of someone higher in the hierarchy with access to more restricted areas or infiltrate the minds of those who work there. Since the opportunity of controlling McDoyer was a result of pure coincidence, she didn’t consider the former option as viable, therefore her new task was to lead one of the scientists into her clutches.
It didn’t take long for her to find her a target – Professor William Carrens, who led a research on technology brought from another world by Qulaar in their recent invasion. As it turned out, scientist and the soldier she had control over knew each other which put her in a risk of being exposed so she had to play it carefully. To her luck, William was so focused on his work he didn’t pay much attention to any suspicious behavior of her pawn. She managed to lure him to McDoyer’s apartment in Downtown with a promise of the new, missing clues found for his research, where she awaited him.
His ambition and impatience led him straight into her trap and when he found out, it was too late. When he learned of Mind Breaker’s presence he was both in fear and awe. He knew his life was in danger but at the same time he was impressed by how easily she manipulated him. Lilith expected him to resist her but to her surprise, he was actually eager to share his knowledge with her, believing he could gain her trust and talk to her reason. While Lilith found his attitude curious, she had no intention of letting him go. His knowledge was her to take and no UNTIL unit would make use of it ever again.
Mila Anderson
"Ori'gato uns'aa plynn tir nindel maunech dal dos..."
Searching the professor research materials, Lilith found a disc that probably he forgot to watch. It was the record reportage showing an interview with a person who has witnessed something very strange. Something that Lilith needed to complete her task. The person in the video was Mila Anderson, a reporter from the Vibora Bay who saw one person with a mysterious object that immediately killed 20 people. Mind Breaker immediately realized that this was an artifact that with proper use could kill at least three times as many people, so she decided to pay a visit in Vibora Bay and find her next target - the reporter. She knew that if she find her, she will also find the murderer. From professor's notes she learned how to get to Vibora. When she arrived, she immediately liked this place. Everywhere on the streets there was the fear of the gangs that ruled the bay. People were screaming, running away, or simply dying. Being in such an atmosphere, it was like listening to a wonderful melody. She wanted to get involved in spreading fear, but she remembered why she's there. After long hours of searching, she found a bar where people was watching the live news. It happened that the report was led by the person whom Lilith was looking for. From the people in the bar, she found out where the place of recording was and immediately went there. As it turned out it was a Red Snake Dojo. When she got there she saw the van of a television crew. She decided to wait for them to finish and go back to the van where they would be trapped. Suddenly, bunch of four werewolves appeared in front of dojo. It was famous troublemaker "Broken Fang" with her servants. She wanted to settle scores with Mila for her insulting to Dogz recordings. Shortly after the appearance of the intruders, the TV crew came out of the Dojo. Lilith couldn't afford to pack leader to kill the reporter, so she attacked the group. Surprised wolves tried to defend but it was too late. Two of wolves died immediately and the rest fled. Among the fugitives was also Broken Fang who promised that one day she will make a revenge. Mila wanted to record the whole event but their camera was accidentally destroyed during fight. After expulsion of the opponents, Lilith devoured whole TV crew including Mila, what gave her the knowledge of her next target. When the whole thing was over, people ran out from dojo to see what happened but they only saw the bodies of two wolves and mumbling TV crew lying on the ground.
Boa'zel Tin
"Nindol faer zhah naut whol dos..."
The power of the artifact was huge. Even without being in the vicinity, Lilith could feel its effects. Knowledge derived from Mila allowed her to find a place where the mysterious item was used. When she arrived, it turned out that the incident wasn't too long ago. The air up there was full of black magic that made her track down the person using it wasn't a difficult task. Following the trail of magic spinning in the air like fireflies, she came upon another victim. Her excitement was even greater when she saw with her own eyes what the artifact can do to people. Examining the bodies, she realized that they were devoid of essence of life, which was their soul. From that moment everything was clear - such damage could be caused only by a Soulshard. Heading further energy trail she met the next and the next victim, and each subsequent desire to have a gem was increasing.
Finally she reached the cemetery crypt, which was probably hideout of the person sought. It was a pretty good idea to hide there because it was scaring people from outside. Entering she noticed that the walls were showing off some quotes in language which she didn't know. The hallway was so long that it wasn't hard to figure out that it was leading to a building outside the cemetery. Curiosity dragged her along the corridor where at the end there was a big wooden door. When she opened it she saw the huge sanctum. In the middle, there was altar on which layed a pile of books and parchments. Next to the altar sat a man in long, decorated robes. Lilith noticed that he had necklace with Soulshard. They both knew that they couldn't did without a fight. Without saying any words, they threw themselves at each other. Lilith used her psionic powers and the stranger was using his black magic. He knew that he couldn't fully use his artefact because Lilith was an undead. That gave her vantage over him. She deftly countered every monk's spell and he gracefully opposed the attempts of the Lilith's mind. Finally the wizard hit Mind Breaker's leg which meant that she fell into a kneeling position. The mysterious man came up to her, opened the book and began to speak words in a strange language. That's when Lilith felt a moment and laughing sarcastically, suddenly plunged ritual knife in the opponent's chest. Paralyzed, he fell to the ground. Then she got up and laughing even louder and even more viciously devoured his mind and took his necklace. Out of curiosity she also scanned the books and parchments lying on the altar. Fascinated by the amount of information contained in the documents she wanted to take them with her but there were tons of them. Then she realised that she need a cozy hideout away from curious people. And that's how the sanctum became her new home, and mysterious person who appeared to be possessed Priest of the Apocalypse had been converted into a trophy standing at the altar.
Thezekhiel
"Dos orn tlu zho'aminth mufo..."
Despite having a powerful soulshard, Lilith felt that something else is missing. Something that will bring destruction to the human world. When she was reading the notes of prior sanctuary owner she found a lot of useful information, especially the one that answered her persistent doubts. She found out that there was someone who had the amazing abilities which properly used could make the eternal chaos. That person was the leader of the Priests of the Apocalypse - Thezekhiel. He was the only person known to Lilith who could use virtually all types of magic at the same time. After that Mind Breaker wanted to meet him personally. Of course she knew that this meeting won't be a simple task.
Finding his hideout wasn't difficult because it was located in the middle of Vibora Bay in characteristic building resembling a temple. She decided that she wouldn't hesitate, and immediately went to the meeting. When she got there the guards wouldn't let her inside so she had to break in using force what wasn't a very big problem because Lilith was in the possession of Soulshard. After the slaughter of guards and casual followers, she began to look for Thezekhiel's office. She was following the winding corridors and killing everyone who gets in her way, until she reached the ornate door. When she opened it she saw an old man with a long white beard dressed in a long robe sitting on a chair in front of the entrance. She quietly stepped inside and closed the door. Thezekhiel without saying any word motioned her to sit down. After a brief conversation, explaining the incident, Lilith challenged him to a duel. The old man didn't want to accept the challenge, because he knew that Mind Breaker had no chance against him, but the honor didn't allow him to refuse, so he invited her to the training room where the fight was to take place. Lilith knew that challenging to a duel someone as powerful as Thezekhiel was very risky therefore she went to fight very seriously. When they entered the room, they bowed to each other showing respect and the fight began. The leader of the priests easily combined together the different elements of magic that were being used against Lilith, who with difficulty repulsed them creating PSI shields and making agile dodges. Warlock was generating streams of black energy that wrapped around the entire elf's body, and she was using magic from absorbed souls to tear elements of the room and flung them straight to Thezekhiel. Unfortunately he predicted every move of undead and it was impossible to even scratch him. After a long exchange of skills Lilith fell to the ground from exhaustion and wasn't able to continue the fight. Then she realized that she haven't got a chance against Thezekhiel who looked only a little bit tired. Despite the fact that drow had killed most of his followers, the old man decided to forgive her. After the incident Thezekhiel gone forever leaving behind the legend about himself.
Felia "Broken Fang" Bladerunner
"Broken Fang? Rather Stamped Fang..."
The defeat in the Temple of Apocalypse very annoyed Lilith. The feeling of lose had put her in a rage, even though she knew that she had no chance of winning. Exhausted by the struggle, she headed towards the exit of the building where there was surprise waiting for her outside. A bunch of werewolves with Broken Fang at the helm, a lot larger than last time. The leader of the pack was waiting for the day, which she will be able to make revenge. That day has arrived, and it was best described by the grin on her face. View of Mind Breaker tired, barely standing at the entrance to the building meant that Felia ( because it was her name ) enjoyed it even more. Anger of drow after lose brought young werewolf satisfaction, but she didn't know what else awaits her. Although Lilith was very tired, she has found in herself enough strength to grin and speak insult towards the gang. She did it on purpose, knowing that this will scare the opponents, giving her strength and the trick worked. After a moment, she could feel the energy she receives. All were shocked that what they saw. When Felia saw it, she horribly roared and rushed towards the undead. That moment signaled the start of a fight. The incredible speed with which she moved impressed Lilith, but didn't make her afraid. On the contrary. She was pleased that after such a long and hard battle with Thezekhiel, she could relax. Broken Fang attacked quickly, but not enough to be able to catch up Lilith, which dodged or countered almost every move that werewolf did. Claws were waving like crazy. After a long struggle, there came a point where drow decided to end the game. Using the stolen souls, she forced all the wolves in the vicinity to immediately fall on their knees before her. Felia tried to get up, but the force was too powerful. Then the whole pack was expanding more and more fear, and this only strengthened Mind Breaker. She heard the lament, moaning and begging for mercy, which was a beautiful melody for her long, elven ears. Finally she decided to end the suffering of wolves and absorbed their souls with the exception of Felia, for which she proposed to set far more painful punishment. After a short mental tortures and the discovery of her worst fears, Lilith broke her teeth as a trophy. View of mutilated physically and mentally Felia made undead almost howled with delight. In the end, she devoured mind of Broken Fang and then realized that she needs new furry boots...
Powers and Abilities
Lilith’s dark nature combined with constant hunger for power made her expand her mystical capabilities. She mastered the art of mysticism by consuming more and more knowledge from the ancient tomes and minds of those she managed to defeat. Her mind can easily recognize powerful artifacts, combine them in order to maximize their power and use them in the most efficient way.
Her broadly developed mind allows her to read the mind of weaker creatures. With the right focus, she can see even the deepest thoughts and secrets of the targeted being. Her highly developed brain is able to accommodate an unimaginable amount of knowledge that she is ready to use at any time. Only the most powerful telepaths and magicians are able to resist her.
In addition to reading minds, Lilith can also take them under control. While she can only partially influence stronger minds, weaker creatures can be completely bent to her will. Mental mastery inherited from her dark masters lets her harness minds even at larger distance though it requires greater focus.
Lilith can devour exhausted minds to consume a portion of their knowledge and completely erase the rest. With each devoured mind, she gains new skills and becomes more powerful (unless the knowledge she consumed is completely useless).
Constant influx of Qliphotic energies enveloped her with a dark aura which can be sensed by those sensitive to corruption. It floods her mind with twisted thoughts which sometimes influence her actions.
Artifacts
Properly combined, they can improve the power of the most spells and abilities of dark origin. Their power comes with a price of twisting corruption clouding the mind of those who dare to use them. Stones of Edom originate from the darkest corners of the Qliphotic Realm.
A powerful and extremely rare artifact capable of containing mortal souls. They can be used in various ways, starting from cleansing rituals, ending on enhancing the most destructive spells and abilities.
Special knife used in dark rituals.
