Bradley Banks was a merciless and self-centered entrepreneur and the president of Omegacorp when a thoughtless act of greed led to an encounter with a mystic being named the Spirit of Capitalism. Accusing men like him of perverting the true meaning of capitalism, the spirit bestowed Banks with the ancient cosmic artifact known as the Almighty Dollar and the dubious honour of being the Greediest Man Alive. Though the Almighty Dollar gave Banks extraordinary powers, he was faced with an ultimatum: he could either use his powers for the betterment of mankind, undoing all the damage he did to the lives of others in his quest for obscene wealth or he would lose his fortune and spend the rest of his days a wretched beggar, incapable of possessing more than the minimum amount of money required to live. With no other choice but to cooperate, Banks became Captain Cash -- the Capitalist Crusader! Though he still uses his newfound powers to benefit his own needs, Captain Cash is quickly realising with each act of heroism that money isn't the only thing in life that matters.
