Trinity (Born Kathryn Turner; July 4, 1990) is a Fictional Villain character that appears in Champions Online.
She is a strong, loyal Psionic User who is in constant search for ways to increase her Psionic Power, Her parents both work for the PSI Organization, has an unknown sister of whom is missing. Upon having learnt of Doctor Destroyer's attack on detroit she for once in her life forsook her loyalty to PSI and took on the mantle of a hero with the alias of Trinity, instead of using her innate power for evil she used it for good.
That was quickly and eventually changed by the Veterans of PSI and their telepathy, removing memories of her being a hero, but still letting her keep the Alias of Trinity. Therefore she once again uses her power for evil.
PRIMUS Database mentions Trinity as a Psionic User of medium-to-high risk albeit she is rumored to be serving PSI and having connections to Sebastian Poe, the former leader of PSI.
History
Birth and Battle of Detroit
Kathryn Turner was born 1990 in Chicago. Kathryn's father and mother both had an affinity for mind powers, specifically her mother was telepathic while her father utilized Telekinetic powers. Kathryn was in a way both lucky and unlucky to be born with both the powers. Kathryn's birth was fairly normal except for the fact that her mother died giving birth but it was rumoured that Kathryn as a baby herself had killed her own mother due the sheer amount of potential of her powers. Kathryn's father was not in any way displeased with it but being the ever so curious person, he wanted to study the baby that would soon be known as Trinity. A year after Kathryn's birth she and her father moved to Detroit But one year after the move, Doctor Destroyer attacked Detroit this would eventually become known as the Battle of Detroit during the attack Kathryn's home was utterly destroyed but thanks to the aid of Sebastian Poe father of Kevin Poe, she was brought to the PSI headquarters in order to protect the child from being one of the many victims within the war along with a fresh new recruit with Potential.
Kathryn being brought to the PSI headquarters was no coincidence, her father had a connection to Sebastian Poe and had told him of her potential. Kathryn has ever since the battle of detroit grown up among various locations connected to the PSI, being both studied aswell as educated in the many general subjects along with the more advanced matters regarding Psionic Energies, Telepathy and Telekinesis. While Detroit was slowly being rebuilt, it eventually changed the name to Millennium City and would in the future become a central hub for various Heroes and Villains along with dozen of Organizations vying for control.
Childhood and PSI
Since Kathryn's recruitment into PSI she has constantly been transported to various locations of PSI throughout her younger childhood and upon reaching the age of five she was finally put in a permament location, it was not a mention but neither an apartment, it was a villa on the outskirts of Millennium City once there she was allowed to participate in school, Kathryn however did not have time to gain new friends as most of her life during this period was focused on educating and teaching Kathryn how to actually control the powers that she has of which had already begun to surface. At one point during her tenth year in life she was treated like a freak. Solely based on the fact she had by accident destroyed the many windows in one of the classrooms due to her having gotten upset and angered at one of her comrades. This however lead to her becoming an outcast for most of her life in school to the point she studied at home rather than in school this also granted Sebastian Poe the possibility of educating Kathryn just aswell, he was rumoured to have been working on a serum to increase psionic power. Kathryn managed to steal the serum but chose never to use it and simply hid it for Poe not to continue his rather insane obsession. At the age of 13 she had begun studying what Doctor Destroyer did and what truly happened to Millennium City during Doctor Destroyer's rampage, she eventually learned that her home was amongst the ruins and she quickly took off to the City in order to find out more. She reached the ruins of her former home and was suddenly attacked by the many memories of the location causing her to go unconcious, she was unconcious for atleast five hours before finally waking up with the old memories of her home along with the attack of which she never partook within, but someone granted her these memories and to this day she has not figured it out.
Due these new memories she began to see the unjustice within the city and already at the age of thirteen she had begun to drift away from PSI after having lived amongst the Organization her entire life. She continued to study information regarding the battle and who Doctor Destroyer truly was but she could never find out and thus decided that she will not rest until Doctor Destroyer himself has been brought down because she knew deep inside that it was not the end of him but rather the beginning. At the age of Fifteen she took on the mantle of a hero by the name of Trinity, she began ridding the city of smaller crimes at first. However these small crimes did not bring her any closer to the goal itself but rather simply wasted time. Therefore she sought to increase her own power, improve her psionic power for as much as she can without having to use the old serum she has, hidden away, Year 2005 PSI had turned into an internal conflict regarding the leadership, which lead Sebastian Poe being removed from the leadership,Psimon along with Medusa and Mind Slayer took over PSI. However like the rest of the PSI members they seek to avoid Mind Slayer at all cost due her rather intimidating presence, excluding Psimon.
Memory Erase
One year after the disposal of Sebastian Poe The Organization discovered what Trinity was up to. It lead into her imminent capture. While Kathryn had stood a chance against one of the members, she was still unexperienced and PSI had sent three members to capture and retrieve her, Trinity fought the group off to the best of her ability even managing to kill one of the members but was eventually bested and brought to the Headquarters of PSI once there one of the more senior members within PSI had the recent memory along with the memory of her parents, removed. However they also decided to remove any knowledge she had of Sebastian Poe and the fact he was the former leader of PSI after having done this she once more became loyal to PSI, she was also assigned to Mind Inc. of which she helped grow and generate a profit to PSI after having worked with Mind Inc. for three years which would put her at the age of Nineteen she was brought back into the PSI Organization to work as one of their members. Considering the fact she grew up in the organization she was considered to be one of the more senior members.
Personality
At a young age, Kathryn was a caring, inquisitive young girl who just happened to end up in the wrong company, while her story is not as grim and dark as many of the heroes she has been through a lot which has also resulted in much of her personality having been changed throughout the time, while she does prefer to remain by herself she has the ability to make friends if she wish but the thought of "friend" is scary to her but thanks to recent happenings she's gotten more friendly. She can however bury herself in books for several days and despite her various experiences she still can be a rather inquisitive person especially if it is useful to her as in to increase the power of her psionic abilities.
Identity
Kathryn believes that by keeping her identity secret the connection to PSI can also be rendered useless, she has been careful of letting people in and were she to do so the possibility of revealing whom she truly is, is next-to-none. She would even keep the identity as Trinity hidden to her lover, if she in fact had one. But such matters odoes not concern Trinity and she would much rather enjoy a friendly discussion or work with the person or lover to increase her power which she could use in order to help protect those whom she cares about or utterly destroy them, but she does not care how she does it as long as the set goal is achieved.
Powers and Abilities
- Psionic Power: Trinity is as known user of Psionic Energy, Psionic energy entails that the user can create, shape and manipulate Psychic Energies, even destroy.
- Psionic Explosion: Trinity if pushed enough can create a massive explosion out of pure psionic energy, however the side-effects are that she will go unconcious for atleast a day.
- Psionic Construction: Trinity can create various constructions out of Psionic energy, but these are mostly weapons, both ranged and melee.
- Telekinesis*: Trinity can manipulate objects through the use of her mind, the objects that can be manipulated have to be physical or having been formerly created through the use of Psionic Construction, which means that she can manipulate several blades at once without even holding one.
- Telekinetic Grip: Trinity can grip various objects and creatures of various sizes, the bigger they are the slower and more straining it will be.
- Telekinetic Cut: Trinity can also cut through various surfaces through the use of her mind, while she cannot cut through tougher surfaces, flesh amongst other things can be cut through, this is an ability Trinity rarely uses as she favors melee combat.
- Telepathy: Trinity was also born with an innate ability of Telepathy which means that she has the ability to recieve and send information to various minds, depending on the willpower of the person she also has the ability to manipulate the person for a short time.
- Illusion Manipulation: Trinity can also cause people to see, hear, touch, smell and taste things that aren't in fact there, she however does not have the ability to alter the way she herself is.

- Serum to increase Psionic Power: A serum that has the ability to permamently increase the psionic power of a being as she had stolen one vial from Sebastian Poe while he was unaware, ever since the theft she have kept the serum hidden and away from use.
