I can't believe that I just saw your comment on Wheelman's talk page. Thank you very much~ --Δ Epelesker (talk) 07:47, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
hi
- Strobe
Thank you very, very much for the kind words regarding Sparrowhawk. That was super sweet, and the PDB really does let you go crazy with envisioning a character how you want to see it. :) -pallas001
- Hey, you betcha. I really dig a good, solid article. These things are essential in making the community feel like it's own canon of sorts. I don't think people comment as often as they should. At least, I didn't used to. I used to just browse, enjoy, continue browsing. So I'm really making an effort to let those authors who make an impression know. --CalamityCain (talk) 17:00, 8 October 2014 (MST)
I'm curious to know if there is particular reason why you created a secondary account? It just seems a tad unnecessary and some explanation could be helpful. --Δ Epelesker (talk) 19:01, 24 September 2013 (MST)
Absolutely! It was to test some problems I've been having lately (of which I had no recourse, until now: wasn't sure how/who to contact). Whenever I try to save/preview changes on Captain Adamant, I get an error message saying "No Data Received" and it kicks me out of accessing PDB for a few seconds. The secondary account was to see if I could bypass the problem that way. I use Google Chrome, and have tried clearing my browsing data/cookies/etc. I can edit other pages, but so far, my character's page seems to be one of the few I can't edit or even preview.
Any idea what the problem could be? I'll try another browser to see if that works. And feel free to delete that second account. I didn't mean to clutter/be redundant, but I thought it may be a quick way to get back to editing my page while the problem was looked into (others have had this problem, I hear). --CalamityCain (talk) 09:42, 25 September 2013 (MST)
- Well, if that didn't work, I'm really not sure what the issue could be. I'll get a hold of BobfromAccounting later. --Δ Epelesker (talk) 13:29, 25 September 2013 (MST)
- Actually, so far, it's resolved. I removed every hyperlink I have, not just the tropes. But maybe it's still worth looking into. If only so we can hyperlink stuff again. :P --CalamityCain (talk) 13:48, 25 September 2013 (MST)
- Also, Strobe never meant any actual damage to my page. I'm sure she told you as much, but it was all a joke, with which she had my implied consent. Man, I've been causing a little trouble, haven't I? --CalamityCain (talk) 18:36, 25 September 2013 (MST)
- Yeah, definitely. Let's hope the next time I run into you, it isn't via PDB troubles. :P --CalamityCain (talk) 19:02, 25 September 2013 (MST)
Inspirations/Images question
Thank you kindly for asking about this! The subject is in a bit of a grey area at the moment while I work on the new Guidelines draft, which should be posted soon. I get the context of use you're aiming for, but... at the same time there's a precedent of avoiding things that might get us in trouble with "higher powers": images being one of those things. Hopefully this is understandable? --Δ Epelesker (talk) 01:39, 15 October 2013 (MST)
- Absolutely. Figured I'd ask. Thanks! --CalamityCain (talk) 09:26, 15 October 2013 (MST)
