Taken from her parents as a toddler, Geneieve was subject to horrific conditioning by her kidnappers to turn her into an efficient assassin. Dubbed 'Crack' after the intense aftereffect her psychic powers leave on most her victims, she was eventually captured and offered the chance to do some good. Facing either life sentence on some superprison or a life of indentured service with access to certain luxries, she chose the latter. After all, she was already used to it.
