History
The Bellerose Family
Everett had two sons and four daughters with his wife Eleanor. In 1861, he would return to the battlefield in the American Civil War, where he aided Union forces pushing the Confederate Army out of Arizona and New Mexico. After dying in 1881, his eldest son Samuel Bellerose followed in his footsteps and altered his father's laboratory into a pharmacy for the people by age twenty-six. By this time Samuel was already teaching his eldest twin children, Joseph and Florence Bellerose.
Under the leadership of the Bellerose Twins,the small pharmacy became a California staple, opening various locations throughout the state before the arrival of World War I. Following Joseph Bellerose's death in the war in 1917, Florence became a surrogate mother to her nieces and nephews. Florence would push her youngest daughter, Margaret Bellerose, into the trade.
Margaret Bellerose's life would be mostly uneventful, and following an untimely death, she left her son, Clarence Bellerose, to lead the family business at sixteen. The young socialite was known for pushing his children into banking, local government, and the military alongside their responsibilities with the family company. With the connections established by Clarence Bellerose, his youngest son Vincent Bellerose was able to push the Bellerose Pharmacy into lobbying at the federal level.
Vincent Bellerose was a bachelor for most of his life, but eventually married Melinda Bellerose in 1979. He was most known for rebranding the Bellerose Pharmacy to Bellerose Pharmaceutical Energineering. Of his eight children, Eloise Bellerose became the leader of her siblings. She was known as a rebel within the Bellerose Family, actively pushing back against all rules and demands placed on her. She was insistant on doing things her way, and in 2010 she cut ties Bellerose Pharmaceutical Engineering had with various private labs, military operations, and other business partners she deemed morally dubious.
As of 2023, Landon Bellerose, the only child of Eloise and Cairo, has taken the reins of Bellerose Pharmaceutical Engineering. Under the guidance of his mother, Landon has geared the company toward assisting those with disabilities, queer people, people living in poverty, and superhumans.
Landon Bellerose
CHILDHOOD
Landon Bellerose was born to the couple of Eloise Bellerose and Cairo Bellerose (previously Michaels) on October 31st, 2003. Landon was born with white hair similar to his father, which most of the world assumed was dyed. At the time, Eloise Bellerose was acting Executive Chairwoman of Bellerose Pharmaceutical Engineering and determined to raise her son to be her successor. Landon spent his childhood in luxury and was routinely presented in magazines and in daytime interviews with his parents. Eloise pushed Landon's academic studies and leadership qualities, while Cairo focused on developing Landon's creativity and sense of self. A push for excellence mixed with numerous creative outlets, Landon was seen as a child prodigy in piano by age six.
THE ATHENIAN SCHOOL
Landon Bellerose was homeschooled by private tutors until he reached sixth grade, at which point he was enrolled at the Athenian School, a college preparatory boarding school in Danville, California. He attended the school with his closest cousin Richard Bellerose. There Landon took up figure skating and ballet, excelling at both. Being from such an important family line, Landon found it easy to make friends, but purposefully kept his inner-circle of associates small. During his time at the Athenian School, he refined his leadership skills and developed passions for environmentalism, public service, and social activism. Landon Bellerose graduated from the Athenian School in May of 2021.
FACE OF MEDICINE
Shortly after graduating high school, Landon Bellerose enrolled at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California in August if 2021. At the same time, he took on the role as Bellerose Pharmaceutical Engineering's Executive Chairman and Face of Medicine. While the decision was supported by many members of the Bellerose Family, many shareholders were wary about the decision. However, Landon proved to be a near copy of his mother, Eloise Bellerose, prioritizing BPE's public image by pushing acts of service. Inheriting a similar fascination with the superhuman world as his grandfather, Vincent Bellerose, Landon pushed spheres of BPE to navigate superhuman society.
AWAKENING MUTATION
In June of 2022, Landon Bellerose was home alone at his family home in Los Altos Hills, California. He was rehersing a speech for a later function, but grew frustrated. Sending home all staff, he was alone in the mansion. The heightened emotional state activated his latent mutant genes and his bedroom became a wintry whirlwind. His thermokinetic abilities took hold of the mansion, lowering the temperature enough to cover most of the interior in frost. Landon's personal butler Oluwatimileyin returned early and promised to keep Landon's secret. Over the passing weeks, Oluwatimileyin assisted Landon in testing the limitations of his abilities in secret. He soon discovered he had significant superhuman durability, flight, and could sense the world through the storms he created.
MOVING TO MILLENNIUM CITY
In August of 2022 Landon Bellerose transferred to Millennium City University in Millennium City, Michigan. This decision wasn't supported by family with the exception of Vincent Bellerose. He hastily moved to Millennium City, purchasing a penthouse in the downtown area and arriving in September 2022. Landon began classes late at MCU in September 2022. He declared a double-major in biomedical science and political science with a double-minor in sociology and psychology. Landon quickly created a reputation for frequently skipping classes, but somehow staying ahead on his studies. Around campus he isn't the most popular person do to his strong personality rubbing his peers the wrong way.
WINDCHILL'S DEBUT
Landon Bellerose debuted as the hero Windchill in Millennium City in September 2022. He attempted to stop what he thought was a fire, but turned out to be local luchador La Fuega showcasing her powers at the gym run by her wrestling faction. Windchill continued to make many mishaps with his new powers, and caused a lot of chaos between out of season winter storms and tons of collateral damage. In early January of 2023, Windchill came across local hero Webcrawler and exchanged emergency numbers to contact each other in the future.
JOINING THE ADVENTURERS
On January 27th, 2023, Windchill was on patrol in the City Center neighorborhood of Millennium City here he was attacked by a villain known as Banewing. Rushing to defend the civilians and rid the city of the threat, he suffered various injuries, all involving poisoning. Using an emergency number provided by local hero Webcrawler, Windchill was soon aided by the superhero group The Adventurers. After forcing Banewing to retreat, Windchill was taken back to the Adventurers HQ and treated. It was there he was extended the opportunity for membership, which he immediately accepted.
INNOVATING A HEALTHIER FUTURE
Following the death of Congressman Clayton Ewing in February 2023, Landon Bellerose pushed BPE's influence into Millennium City by establishing multiple free superhuman health clinics throughout the Westside and City Center neighborhoods. Despite the politician previously supported by the Bellerose Family recently passing, Landon found it easier to plant seeds for BPE's future all throughout Millennium City. In April 2023, Landon Bellerose faced a series of kidnappings at the hands of ex-employees of now defunct BPE partner Genesis Solutions. After Genesis Solutions was stopped by local heroes, he was approached by his cousin Francine Bellerose with a proposition for a rehabilitation facility for individuals with dangerous powers and criminal backgrounds. In July 2023, Landon Bellerose announced the opening of the Joseph & Florence Rehabilitation Center, which would see Dr. Francine Bellerose assigned as Clinical Director. After opening their doors, the J&F was flooded with those in need, and occasionally was met with angry protests when enrolling known supervillains into the program. Powers
Thermokinesis - Windchill can manipulate temperature on a molecular level, slowing molecules to the point of freezing and shifting the temperature dramatically to cause powerful winds.
Superhuman Durability - Windchill is immune to most kinds of physical damage and can withstand blunt force trauma, falls from great heights, burning, blades, some bullets, and energy blasts. Specialized weaponry like armor piercing rounds are capable of overcoming his durability.
Flight - While manipulating the temperature, Windchill is capable of flight, pushing his body along with the wind.
Techniques
Targeted Blast - Windchill channels a destructive burst of wind against a specific target, knocking them prone or away, but may cause unwanted collateral damage in the process.
Localized Storm - Windchill creates a whirlwind of wind and cold around a target or small collection of targets which will dissolve when he pulls his focus away from it.
Whiteout - Windchill creates a barrier of heavy snow and wind that blinds both enemies and allies in the area of effect as long as he focuses on sustaining it.
Sensing the Storm - Windchill opens his mind and extends his senses through the storm. He is capable of detecting the location of any allies, enemies, or significant objects within his storm.
Absolute Zero - Windchill removes his bracers which boost his power exponentially for a limited time, but dramatically increases the chances of thermodynamic exhaustion.
Temperature Drop - Windchill channels the full capacity of his thermodynamic powers by rapidly lowering the temperature in an area.
Unleashed - Windchill puts on a tremendous display of might with his powers to awe an audience into silence, respect, or attention and causes significant collateral damage in the process.
Skills
Bilingual - Landon is fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and translating between English and Yoruba.
Figure Skating - Landon trained for most of his teenage years as a men's singles figure skater. His rigorous training displays itself in the modern day with how he moves through the air and uses his powers.
Piano - Following in his father's footsteps, Landon is a trained pianist. Although nowhere near his father's level, he is capable of playing classical selections, jazz, and blues.
Weaknesses
Thermodynamic Exhaustion - The constant exchange of thermal energy will eventually exhausted Windchill to the point of passing out, and his nearly limitless cryokinetic abilities are only regulated by his suppression gauntlets
Mental Manipulation - Given his powers revolve around his emotions, any form of mind control, substance use, or power that alter his emotions and/or perceptions are extremely debilitating.
Poisons/Toxins/Venoms - Any hazardous substances that bypass his incredibly durable exterior have immediate effects on Windchill. From cigarette smoke to a venomous bite to ingesting poison has the potential of putting Windchill down for the count.
Magic and Mysticism - Windchill has no particular defenses against magic, and while he isn't directly prone to it, he doesn't understand it and is often confused when it comes up.
Armor-Piercing Ammunition - Ammunition designed specifically for penetrating armor can harm Windchill when used in close proximity to him.

Gear
Suppression Gauntlets - While power suppression tech usually nullifies superhumans from exhibiting any sort of superpowers, they have a different effect on Windchill. These gauntlets help regulate Windchill's body so he can handle exert and absorbing thermal energy consistently without passing out.
Sol Santos Sunglasses Collection - They aren't his favorite accessory, but costing nearly $45,000 a pair makes them pretty high on the list. They don't high his identity very well, but it buys him valuable seconds against the paparazzi when he's parading around as Landon Bellerose.
AJ's Crimson Scarf - A gift from his Squad Leader Firewalker given to him so he had a piece of his supersuit that fit in with the other members of the Crimson Squad.
Greer and Harlick Scarf Collection - Windchil has a passion for being the best dressed in the room, and hero work is no exception. The scarves he's collected over the past few months range from midnight black to arctic blue, but all serve the same two purposes. Being stylish and hiding his identity.

Vincent Bellerose (Grandfather) - The current patriarch of the Bellerose Family, Vincent was known for dealings with dubious business partners during his time as the Face of Medicine. To the family, he is known as a real family man, uniting everyone for movie nights and cookouts at his mansion.
Eloise Bellerose (Mother) - Mother of Landon Bellerose, Eloise took over the title of Face of Medicine from her father Vincent after seeing the company heading in a direction she didn't like. After restoring the company's values, she left in charge the only person she trusted to keep BPE going down a morally righteous path. Her son.
Cairo Bellerose (Father) - An orphan who became a piano playing prodigy with the guidance of his musical mentor. Cairo Michaels found himself in the present of highbrow and upper-class audiences, which he then used as a platform to promote equality. His social activism caught the eye of Eloise Bellerose, and he married into the family.
Oluwatimileyin (Butler) - Landon Bellerose's personal butler who he entrusts with his deepest secrets. Out of all his family, Oluwatimileyin is the only one aware of Landon's mutation and superpowers.
Virgil Bellerose (Uncle) - Landon's Uncle Virgil has been one of his closest family members, there to advise Landon alongside his mother during his first years as BPE's Face of Medicine. Virgil's philosophy of 'breaking a few eggs to make an omelet' isn't one always supported by his sister Eloise, but Landon tries to balance both conflicting viewpoints.
Richard "Richie" Bellerose (Cousin) - The oldest son of Virgil Bellerose, and Landon's favorite cousin is the CEO of Bellerose Pharmaceutical Engineering. A lot more abrasive and cutthroat, Richie never desired to be the Face of Medicine and is perfectly comfortable in his current position.
Dorothy Bellerose (Aunt) - This illustrious opera singer is most known for introducing Eloise to famous pianist Cairo Michaels. Dorothy Bellerose's heavenly voice has been acclaimed worldwide as the best to sing 'Queen of the Night' and 'Il Dolce Suono.'
Francine Bellerose (Cousin) - Daughter of Dorothy Bellerose, Francine wasn't as musically gifted as her mother. Instead she took her talents into medical research. She oversees the Joseph & Florence Facility as the Clinical Director.
Hudson Bellerose (Uncle) - Uncle Hudson heads BPE's computational division. Though he isn't very technologically inclined, all he needs to do is oversee things. His real passion is the wilderness as he spends a lot of his time camping and hiking with his husband Justin and their pet lion Cher.
Sidney Bellerose (Aunt) - Sydney Bellerose and her husband Eugene operate Lexington Security Agency, the sole provider of all of BPE's technological security as well as the primary staffer for their security personnel.
Holly Bellerose (Cousin) - The well-spoken daughter on Sidney Bellerose also happens to be the head of BPE's Public Relations department. While she doesn't appear on camera like the Faces of Medicine, she coordinates the teams that get them in front of a cameras with the perfect script.
Harrison Bellerose (Cousin) - Son of Sidney Bellerose, Harrison was always musically gifted and used them often to make women swoon around him. Though he never desired to get into the music industry, his poetic nature and suave charisma keeps him on the verge of marriage with multiple potential suitors.
Raven Herron (Cousin-in-Law) - Harrison Bellerose's fiance who happens to also be an escaped clone created by Alcove.
Sebastian Bellerose (Cousin) - Son of Nicholas Bellerose, Sebastian is BPE's political liaison. He works hard lobbying on the floor and convincing congressmen and senators to vote in the best interest of BPE.
Friends/Allies
Kazpar Fedorchak - An athlete at Millennium City University that Landon Bellerose is currently dating. It is unknown how they actually met, and their relationship seems to have come out of nowhere.
Osprey - One of Windchill's fellow teammates on the Adventurers who has taken him under her wing. He confides in her and can always trust her to have his back or call him out.
Firewalker - One of Windchill's fellow teammates on the Adventurers, who has taken up the role of mentoring Windchill as a hero and providing advice for social affairs.
Douglass Rook - As Landon Bellerose's personal Head of Security in Millennium City, Douglass plans and coordinates every security measure for anywhere Landon finds himself in the city. And quite often he even accompanies Landon on trips to 'high risk' locations.
Tyson Bishop - One of Landon's most experienced bodyguards, Tyson has received various forms of firearms, combat, and weapons training. When it comes to getting Landon out of a sticky situation by any means necessary, Tyson is more than equipped for the situation.
Devona Bliss - A up-and-coming punk rocker in Millennium City has caught the eye of Landon Bellerose. He admits he's not the biggest fan of the music, but does enjoy the emotion she can convey through her lyrics. He's even gone as far as to provide her medical support after she sustained an arm injury.
June Lennox - Landon's personal lawyer appointed by his family. June seems like a hardworker on paper, but really does what she can to get hard jobs done quick.
