Appearance

Alexander - as the subject requested he be referred to, somewhat angrily after viewing over the first draft of his profile, citing that the term 'subject' is 'demeaning and dehumanizing' and that he 'has a name - please use it' - has short, slightly ruffled fur the color of pitch. His body is fairly muscular owing to his lycan blood, yet also lithe due to being a mage - spending more time reading books and practicing magic than doing any major physical activity - except when he's exploring a new world, as this tends to necessitate a lot of walking, as well as the all-too-frequent fights he often finds himself getting into on said worlds, as paraphrased by Greymane himself during the interview.

Background

Originally from an alternate Earth, Alexander Greymane arrived in Millennium City via dimensional portal shortly before the Qularr Invasion, intending to explore this new world as he had done with others several times before, wandering the outskirts of the city in human form so as not to cause a panic.

When the invasion broke out, he was quick to lend his aid to the beleaguered Police Department and nearby Heroes, including members of what he later found out were The Champions, using his skills as a Pyromancer to burn through masses of Qularr ground forces and offering aid to the city's denizens wherever he could.

After assisting Defender in retaking the Champion's building and putting an end to the invasion by destroying the Qularr's orbiting mothership, he quickly set out for Westside, now in his full lycan form due to being forced to transform while storming the Champion building and eager to assist further in any way he can.

Personality

Greymane tends to be very friendly and outgoing for a lycanthrope, able to make friends easily due to his natural charisma, though it can be difficult to get him to talk at times - but once he starts, it's nearly impossible to get him to shut up, as our interviewer found out first-hand.

He enjoys laughter very much, and likes to crack jokes and play pranks frequently; watch out for him when he's in a pranking mood - you never know what he's going to do or who he's going to target...as our interviewer ALSO found out first-hand - along with several other PRIMUS employees and staff.

Abilities

As a lycanthrope, Greymane enjoys all the benefits of lycanthropy, including enhanced senses, speed, durability, reflexes, strength and healing - able to heal even the most severe wounds in a matter of days, and even regrow severed limbs, though this can take several weeks depending on his general state of health during the process of regeneration.

He is also an accomplished mage, specializing mainly in fire magic but also dabbling in arts some might consider dark, such as necromancy and sanguimancy - though he was quick to assure PRIMUS that he would never use the former to forcibly bind the souls of the departed to this world, nor desecrate their earthly remains and he merely uses it in its original capacity - that of communicating with the dead for purposes of divination and information.

Weaknesses

As a lycanthrope, Greymane is extremely hard to kill thanks to his powerful lycanthropic regenerative abilities and durability; the only guaranteed methods of killing him are decapitation or total destruction of his head, asphyxiation, drowning, wounding him faster than his regeneration can heal or separating his soul from his body.

It should be noted that for some unexplainable reason, unlike other lycanthropes, silver has no effect on him whatsoever - possibly a byproduct of his not being a lycanthrope from this world.

Equipment

Greymane prefers to travel light, yet also prefers to carry all manner of items with him, as one never knows when a situation will arise where some item or another is required - luckily enough for him, he can have both thanks to his specially-charmed satchel, the featherlight and undetectable expansion charms placed upon it by a friend from his world allowing him to carry an entire arsenal, library and apothecary in a small bag weighing no more than a pound. During his adventures through Millennium City and beyond, he also managed to acquire a 'Naginata Alpha' Grav Bike - which he naturally began tinkering around with, upgrading its integrated weapon systems and installing a pair of linked Mk 7 Enemy Hull Scanners and Mk 7 Reconstructive Biosteel Plating.
