Re: the missing "27" acct.
While I can certainly sympathize with your plight, since I'm not exactly the most techy of the mods I dunno how much I'll be able to help in finding your lost information. You say that it's been within the last couple of months that you noticed it? I know we had an outage around the beginning of December... nothing as big as the one in 2013 where we pretty much lost the entire site, though.
How long ago were you active on PDb on your first account? --Epelesker
- My first account probably hasn't been touched for like..almost a year prior to the incident haha. That's why I found it extremely strange how those profiles are still up, perfect and running and yet my newer ones are nowhere to be found. I honestly have very little hope that I'll actually get anything back, but I appreciate some trying. I'll be honest that it will turn me off from working on those characters since it's like I have completely lost all these details about their background that I can't really recover fully without seeing it written down. :( Tricolour (talk)
- After bringing it up with the mods, one of them ended up doing a Google cache lookup and found that one of the pages you listed-- that of Cadavo's-- did indeed exist on PDb at some point between February and May of last year. That said... with the various outages and server moves we've had over the last 2-ish years, it's possible that the account (and your associated work, of course!) was simply on some older version that's no longer available. Many people have simply remade their accounts and backed up their pages in some way, which is why they still exist here.
I'm very sorry to hear that it's unlikely you'll be able to remake most of the details of your old characters from scratch in this case. --Δ Epelesker (talk) 03:52, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
