Backstory
As a child, Bernard was what some would call a geek. You could say he was one of those special students who would pass a suprise quiz on a Monday. Eventually, Bernard moved on to High School, and the results of his intelligence was no different. As smart as he was, he decided to pick up a part time job, at his Uncles scientific research center.
As happy as Bernard was with this job, he wouldn't at all like what happened next. Bernard was assigned to help a group of engineers repair a expiremental Plasma radiator. Safety equipment was engaged, but failed to protect Bernard. The heated plasma burned through his protective gloves, and completly disintegrated his right hand, and partially burned his left hand. This event would change Bernards life. Forever.
Project Median
Years after the incident, Bernards Uncle begins to devloped a prototype bionic hand, that could give Bernard several benefits. After several failures the scientist was beggining to drop the project. But he saw the flaw in his creation, and created a improved glove in which was made out of questionite material. Making it a sturdy, yet light bionic hand.
Bernard, at first nervous about the idea of being a guinea pig for this project, soon felt obligated to help once he learned his Uncle was doing this all for him. After a signing a contract, and taking several physical exams, Bernard was ready to go. ((WIP))
