Like many of his abominable siblings the dragon Telirian was dragged past the event horizon of a Black Hole by a daring space ship captain and left pinned in a state beyond death for 100,000 years.
In this time his soul, trapped by the singularity, wandered the worlds and saw what was, what is and what might be. He pondered his nature, and the minute intricacies of all there is.
And then, through a miraculous feat of science and technology, he and his uncounted brethren were pulled from their prisons to be loosed once more.
