Tarquin was born on Eetraya some two hundred years ago, one year before his younger brother Adrien Victus They were both treated right growing up. But they were taught different things. as their father always said, Tarquin is bred for war while Adrien was meant for something else And his was right. When Tarquin reached the age of fifteen he immediately joined the military, where he started his training. It was brutal and he endured many hardships from beatings to running. But he was determined to make it, and so he did after ten years of training he Finally made it through.
He first saw combat a few days after his training was complete when the Eetrayan people was faced with a long skirmish against a highly advanced robotics race called Reavers On a small Eetrayan Moon. where he was sent to the front. the fight was brutal and the Eetrayans suffered several losses. and retreat was inevitable. But one individual managed to inspire the soldiers and planned a charge directly through the reavers line. Tarquin immediately agreed to one final push, And after many hours had passed and a countless number of Eetrayans had lost their lives. they finally tasted victory. And the few still standing owed it all to the one who lead chargeLaeus, the emperor of the Eetrayan People.
A few years passed and he took part in several campaigns and conquests, But when he was approached by his brother Adrien Victus. one night in a local bar his life changed completely.
His brother Told him about a brand new project, called "Project Omega" And that they were in need of volunteers, Tarquin was intrigued by the offer. and signed up.
But what he didn't know was that the program was meant to create soldiers capable of fighting on every world in every environment. and that meant modifying their very being. His brother, was in charge of the engineers responsible for the creation of a whole new power armour. while all the scientists were in charge of the genetic modifications.
The whole processes was extremely painful, as he endured several weeks of constantly pain while the scientists perform various operations and modifications, Some of the things they changed was his eyes, his heart, his muscles. But the worst thing was when they completely redid his Adrenalin system. But when his body have rested after a few more weeks he finally woke up as a new man. his body had changed. And so the training began This was only part one.
The first days of his training was to learn how to control the burning rage he constantly lived with, a side effect from the extensive modifications done to him. But it proved difficult. And he was almost kicked off the project for breaking one of the scientists neck when he didn't answer his question. But his brother managed to convince them to keep him on the project. Eventually he managed to control it to some degree, and it was enough for him to move on to the next stage.
The third stage was when he was introduced to the brand new C-252 Flight suit. a True testament to the Eetrayen technology. The armour have so many advanced features. But the most incredible one was the new flight system using prototype G-427 Magneto-plasma Rocket Propulsion system. Which allowed the suit to reach extreme flight speed. While the chest piece was created with several flaps and other forms of control. allowing for extreme precision and maneuverability in subsonic flight. Compared to Human jets. the suit is faster and can maneuver in a way jets never will. But Tarquin had to learn how to put it on and take it off in less than five minutes. a difficult task, but his new eyesight and muscles helped him perform and he managed to learn it.
The final stage was to learn how to fly. and how to fight in this new suit. many found it odd when he showed near perfect results after only a few hours of training. Some say it's was his instincts guiding him. almost as if he was breed for this. other simply claim it was luck. But after a few years of training he had mastered it. Which created the first Shock trooper in the Eetrayan empire.
During a presentation for the High command, this new trooper really gave them a show as he for the first time entered subsonic flight near the ground shattering windows in the entire military district. But this was approved of by high command as they decided to expand this project and create thousands of these soldiers. And so the shock troopers became a thing. Tarquin was tasked with training the few who made it through the the entire processes. a few years later The shock troopers grew to a total of a thousand men. Nothing compared to some ofthe other divisions within the Eetrayan military. But these thousand soon came to prove their worth when the Invasion of patatanlis was approved.
The first day of the invasion was the toughest. The Atani race proved more advanced than expected. and they had constructed several Ground to orbit cannons making it impossible for the Eetrayan fleet to get close enough to use drop ships. But Tarquin and his unit was then tasked with Dropping from a very high orbit. And so they did. This was the first field test of the suit. But it proved more than capable when a thousand men in suits came Raging down towards the ground the Atani was shocked. and unable to respond fast enough The scattered soldiers guarding the cannons quickly feel to the might of this new technology. and within hours the planet's defenses was blown up or otherwise disabled. creating room for the Fleet to begin the planetary bombardment. Even the Atani air-force was helpless against these new brand of soldiers, One by one their planes fell from the sky. It took nothing more than two days before they Atani surrendered, having nothing left of their former military and their entire population forced into a secured area on the south side of the planet. The Eetrayans suffered only a few losses that day.
And so the this new infantry got quite famous for their performance. And the lead engineer responsible for the creation of these suits was promoted to Chief engineer of the Eetrayan military. Tarquin was known as the first and looked up at by many. The two brother had earned their right within the military and still serves to this day. But This was only the beginning.
Tarquin served in many battles after that. One of the most noteworthy was they day he lost his right hand. On a small remote planet known to hold large quantities of questionite, the Shock troopers were once again the first ones in. They dropped from the sky and was met with fierce resistance by a highly advanced race known as the reavers who was on the planet for the same reason, Tarquin and his unit engaged them in Ground combat and air combat. spreading heir own forces thin, Tarquin was engaged with a Reaver ship when the ship made a reckless maneuver forcing tarquin to push his own suit to a near breaking point when the two objects collided mid-air And tarquins right hand got caught in the propulsion system. completely burning off his hand. Tarquin naturally being very resistant to pain kept fighting the Reaver, nearly costing him his life, hadn't it been for his brothers help in the form of a new projectile known as the Em-spike fired from his zx-252 Battle rifle. One shot was all he needed to shut down the reaver. and therefore winning the one fight of many. Several months passed as battle raged all over the planet. The shock infantry managed to get air-superiority and therefore allowing the Eetrayan to reinforce with the Soldiers and other personal. A few more weeks passed and the Eetrayans fought bravely.
Just when the Eetrayans ws on the brink of victory something disturbing was played over the secondary channel. a distress signal from the core world, Immediately the Eetrayan forced retreated from the planet, When the distress signal went dark. Unsure what was happening or how to proceed. Thankfully his brother was there and was able to decrypt the final message played over the coms, it told of the fall of the empire and how the final command of the emperor was to retreat. Tarquins brother was already working on a project to create their own wormholes.
He finished his prototype within hours truly showing how intelligent he is. And turned it on creating a wormhole just big enough for a few ships to pass through Sadly the prototype only lasted for a few minutes before it burned out. Which only lead to their own ship to make it through. and so they ended up somewhere brand new. Adrien spent a few days creating a robotic hand for Tarquin. nothing special about it.
As two days passed something popped up on their radar. a small trace of a familiar technology, the long range teleporter. Adrien traced it to a strange world Know as "Earth". And that it was projected by the emperor's flag ship "The Acardia." And they once again had a purpose. which brings them to this day.
The Shock troopers or Shock infantry was Developed and molded by the Adrien Victus To serve as a Rapid deployment unit. Usually they are the first one to enter any form of combat and the last ones to leave. They were created when the emperor planned the invasion of planet Patatanlis, a world known to be extremely hostile, The atmosphere contains several forms of nerve toxins making breathing impossible. While the ground was mostly mash and ocean. Even the waters of the planet contained acid able to melt through any form of Biological matter, except from the race inhabiting the planet. They were large creatures which was quite advanced having laser weaponry and Strong uniforms. Since the basic infantry of the Eetrayan Army was insufficient for this. Something else was needed, and so was the Shock infantry created.
The reason for the invasion was simple. The planet holds large quantities of an unknown mineral used for the Eetrayan fleet’s weaponry. it’s is rare so the invasion could lead to a huge storage of this mineral.
The war was a success thanks to the new shock infantry. with only few losses the war was won. and the Deposits of the unknown material was secured, which lead to the infantry becoming a standard part of the army, and these days they serve as the solution.
The entire training process includes gene modifications so the body can handle the extreme pressure of subsonic flight and it have to be able to handle several G’s. Another modification created was the enhanced adrenal gland Pumping adrenaline directly into the bloodstream at an increased rate giving the subjects heightened senses and reflexes. But the most important feature is their depth perception. allowing the to see and predicts multiple objects at different ranges a necessary feature when flying faster than bullets.
The shock troopers are not without their downside. The extensive gene modification caused many of the subjects to become extremely violent, Some learns to manage it, others don’t. The average success ratio of a subject going through the entire process of becoming a shock trooper is is one of every ten. So their numbers are limited, But they are extremely lethal. Some might call them elite soldiers.
The overall construction of the armour is built around one concept. " weight" The engineers working on this project have made it lightweight without sacrificing it's durability. This is achieved by Forging the metal in a new way making it hollow in the core This naturally makes it weaker, but a new coating technique made it possible to Make up for this. The coating alone gives it durability but also increases the alloy's resistance towards extreme temperatures. Unfortunate the suit is weakened towards extremely cold temperatures.
The suit is developed to handle the harsh terrains of most planets as well as having the ability to drop from orbit. hence the need for heat shielding. The suit can handle speed up to mach seven but the reason for This not being the top speed is the fact that the pilot's body cannot handle the preasure or the G's created at such velocity.
Helmet:
The helmet is the masterpiece of the Armour. It holds a built in radar allowing for pinpoint navigation as well as a Advanced targeting system allowing the wearer 100% accuracy even in subsonic flight. inside the helmet the user have a heads up display with all the information he needs to perform every task. Furthermore the The helmet also houses the advanced oxygen filtration unit and the Emergency Oxygen supply. making it far more advanced than the standard variant.
Chest piece:
The chest piece is the center of the power Armour housing the central power core. it also holds the main flight controls such as deployable flaps on the shoulders allowing for extreme maneuverability of the flight system. it also holds a life support system, capable of maintaining a comfortable temperature even when flying in zero degrees. The metal used is an extremely lightweight alloy coated with a special ally to Prevent it from burning up during extreme temperatures.
Leg plates:
The leg plates have also been modified to hold several containers of ammunition and Grenades hidden within them with several layers of heat shields. They also holds a large quantity of power cells. This model also holds advanced countermeasures which is deployed against heat seaking objects or radar guided objects.
Boots:
have been customized to fit some the G-427 Magneto-plasma Rocket Propulsion system. which allows for Subsonic flight at a top speed of Mach 5 Within the atmosphere of any planet. Furthermore they contain a special metallic layer on the base of the foot allowing them to have near perfect balance on any surface.
Gauntlets:
The gauntlets hold several hydraulic pistons increasing the wearer's strength allowing them to lift and move heavier than normal objects.
Each gauntlet holds a separate power core with plasma projector allowing for two plasma blades to shoot forward acting like small blades when needed.
inside the zx-253 Battle rifle is two parallel metal rails connected to an electrical power supply. When a conductive projectile is inserted between the rails, it completes the circuit. Electrons flow from the negative terminal of the power supply up the negative rail, across the projectile, and down the positive rail, back to the power supply.
This current makes the zx-253 behave as an electromagnet, creating a magnetic field inside the loop formed by the length of the rails up to the position of the armature. In accordance with the right-hand rule, the magnetic field circulates around each conductor. Since the current is in the opposite direction along each rail, the net magnetic field between the rails is directed at right angles to the plane formed by the central axes of the rails and the armature. In combination with the current in the armature, this produces a force which accelerates the projectile along the rails, away from the power supply. There are also forces acting on the rails and attempting to push them apart, but since the rails are mounted firmly, they cannot move.
By definition, if a current of one ampere flows in a pair of infinitely long parallel conductors that are separated then the magnitude of the force on each meter of those conductors will be exactly 0.2 micro-newtons. Furthermore, in general, the force will be proportional to the square of the magnitude of the current and inversely proportional to the distance between the conductors. It also follows that, for the zx-253 with projectile masses of a 1 Kg and barrel lengths of a 1 m, very large currents will be required to accelerate projectiles to velocities of the order of 1701,45 m / s or in other words Mach 5.
It’s capable of firing more than several rounds per minute for thousands of shots without failure or significant degradation
Tarquin and Adrien. Victus, both came to earth after tracing a teleporter beam here. where they began their search. The first stop they had was Milenium city, where they decided to check out the local club. Inside the club they saw something they didn't expect, They found Laeus, the emperor of the Eetrayan People. And once again swore their aligence, and forever be by his side.
Another strange thing they encountered was a Species called " Humans" Much to their disappointment this encounter was less than friendly. as hostile words were spoken The human finally left almost causing Tarquin to shove a Fission warhead up The humans ass. But thankfully no incident ever occurred.
