"When I first met Marc, he was a clumsy, quiet kid with a broken voice. That hasn't changed. But I dunno, I have this feeling. I know what it's like to be underestimated. I think Marc's gonna get that ''a lot''. My advice? Turn up the volume, when they least expect it." -- [[Kid Ballistic]]

Creator Notes

  • Communick's creation was spurred by the inclusion of Hyper Voice as a power in CO. However, the decision to use that as a jumping off point for a power concept that was more of a supporting role also came early in the creation process.
  • Not directly inspired, but some of Communick's concept ideas also took influence from my sonic-blasting hero from CoH.
  • A friend linked this video (also, I found this later) to help me imagine what Marc's voice might sound like after his powers manifested.
  • Communick's civilian name is a blatant callback to the man considered to be the father of modern radio.
