- Atomac is inspired by size-changing heroes like Ant-Man/Giant-Man, and the Atom.
- Ralph's last name was shamelessly lifted from the author of The Incredible Shrinking Man, Richard Matheson, in a fit of inspiration.
- Atomac is the second Champions Online character I've made. Originally created as a Behemoth archetype, the character was changed to Freeform in 2013.
- He started out as an adult character. He was retconned to a teenaged hero in January 2013.
- Atomac was one of the winners of the 2012 CORP Festival, winning the Retro/Classic category and placing as a runner-up overall.
