Starwing Appearance.png

Starwing is a tall Malvan woman of average build, possessing golden skin, green eyes, and brilliant red hair -and like all malvans being incredibly beautiful by human standards. In combat she wears long boots, gloves, and an upper body harness reminiscent of Firewing's 4th Edition Design. When not in her hero costume Starwing prefers minimalistic, loose clothing, most commonly being seen wearing a partially sheer magenta mini dress.

Starwing Backstory.png

A race of decadents and hedonists, Malvans rarely if ever leave the comforts of their homes, having everything from entertainment to knowledge at their fingertips, planet wide teleportation systems having eliminated the need for much activity and terraforming technology having turned Malva into an artificial paradise.

Few malvans ever show any interesting in knowledge, culture, or anything other than their own self pleasing desires. Starwing was one such exception; a brilliant young girl with an inquisitive spirit, she loved reading about the beauties to be found in all four corners of Malva, and once she grew up she made sure to visit all of them -from the great Poetry Forest to the Sapphire Caves of Kumaria.

As great as the sights of Malva are, even they are not infinite, and as time went on, Starwing had fewer and fewer sights left for her to see, she had traveled the entire surface of the planet and experienced everything it had to offer -it was time for her to leave and experience the rest of the Galaxy's wonders.

Several more centuries pass and Starwing, then still called Corina Xotol, visited dozens if not hundreds of planets, taking in the natural sights and indulging herself in the culture, the cuisine, and even the locals.

Everything however stopped when whilst on board a ship bound for Malva -The not-yet-heroine returning home for her mother's funeral-, the ship was attacked by Roin'esh rebels who had managed to plant an explosive device in the ship's Infrashunt engine's core, causing a massive blast that disabled the ship's FTL capabilities, making the ship easier for them to take over.

The explosion that disable the ship's engine had also caught Corina in its blast, setting her on fire, painful, agonizing fire. She would have died that day if not for a freak wave of cosmic energy hitting her dying body and soon she felt the pain go away, the fires having burnt off her clothing yet her flesh being spared.

The strangeness of the unbelievable situation did not stop there, for when one of the Roin'esh attempted to shoot at the woman she instinctively raised her arms to her face and found the flames surrounding her shooting at the offending rebel, burning him alive.

Realizing that fire was obeying her command, she soon set out to eliminate the other rebels and free the ship, all of the other passengers hailing her as a heroine afterwards, the ship soon being rescued and taken to its destination by a Malvan Skyspear.
