ORIGIN
Alanza Elmuri was born in 1974 to a italian father and a canadian mother, Alanza's father Marco was one of the space station Fulmine's crew members and is a prominate figure among the italian astronauts, he is strict but loving to his daughter as she was taught the ropes on how the world works by her father.
When Marco went on a astronaut exposition, he saw that there was a broken engine in the space shuttle and he tried to fix it on the way back but to no avail, the engine exploded and Marco along with the rest of the astronauts of the space shuttle Stella le Bianco was killed, Alanza was saddened to hear of her father's passing, a funeral for the fallen astronauts was taken place in their honor, Alanza's mother told her to never live in her father's footsteps as a astronaut.
When Alanza gotten older, she went to Harvard Collage along with her friends in order to get her degrees in Biological Science, Mathemetics and Engineering, when Alanza graduated in 1986 she was recruited by the italian Space Agency to be one of the Fulmine's crew members, her memory of the terrible event of her past flashed in her head, at first she was relunctent to join but Alanza decided to join anyway to fulfill her father wishes.
THE DAY THE MIST FELL OVER
Alanza's boss Volbori instructed her with a mission that concerns the planet earth, a kinetic mist is heading towards the planet with the intent of destroying it and only Alanza and her crew could stop it from spreading towards the atmosphere,
Alanza knows the danger that this mist holds and asked some of her crew members to work together to stop this from happening, when her shuttle fly towards the mist in order to distract it, the mist knows of their plan and uses it's power to kill some of Alanza's crewmates,
Alanza accidentily absorbed the kinetic energy of the mist in order to weaken it, she got sickend from the absorption of the energy and she crash lands the shuttle to the earth's atmosphere, the medical team came to the crew's rescue and found that Alanza and some of the crew survived the wreckage.
THE STAR IS BORN
When Alanza was resting in her hospital room, she suddenly feels a strange sensation in her body, she woke up when she realized her strength has increased to superhuman perportions when she bent her morphine holder while she squeezed it, as she ran towards the window to jump, she realized that she had the ability to fly, as she landed safely on the ground a truck was speeding towards her, it ran into Alanza and the front of the truck was destroyed,
Alanza then realized that this kinetic mist must have gave her superpowers and she was learning to control them, Alanza trained in boxing to condition her body to get used of her powers and to increase her strength in the process, when one of the muggers attacked her, she accidentally used her optic beams to burn the mugger's left foot and the muggers ran away,
Alanza then hear of the Battle of Detroit where Dr. Destroyer decimated Detroit and many of the heroes sacrificed themselves to stop Dr. Destroyer and his minions, Alanza, inspired by the courage of her father and many heroes that died at the hand of Dr. Destroyer then becomes Starflight.
