Description

Hailing from the Malvan-controlled planet Taroindar, young shapeshifter "Phage" was marooned on Earth years ago when her scout ship crash landed in Canada. Although initial contact with the local populace resulted in hostility from both sides, Phage argues the Roin'esh are simply misunderstood nomads who accidentally found themselves on Earth.

Regardless of her people's mysterious intentions, Phage herself has adopted Earth as her homeworld, using her innate shapeshifting abilities to protect it from the evils of Dr. Destroyer, and other would-be villains that threaten the planet.

Slave to The Malvans

At a very young age, Pha'gir'ioa Na'too'i was given up by her family to be a slave for a rich and powerful Malvan lord. The Malvans have long treated her people as rare commodities, their innate shapeshifting abilities an endless source of entertainment for them. For years she served in various ways, none of them pleasant. But she was not alone in her misery. Making friends with an aging feline alien slave, Pha'gir'ioa was looked after and taken care of by the creature like she was his own daughter.

Escape

Tired of Malvan control, the Roin'esh people split into two factions, the Loyalists who continued to serve their masters out of fear of their wrath, and the Separatists, a group of rebels who sought to break free of their chains and start their own great empire in the galaxy. Still too young to understand the politics, Pha'gir'ioa ultimately continued to serve her master for a time. It wasn't until the death of her feline friend due to exhaustion from slave labor that the young shapeshifter decided to rebel against her crass and careless overlords. Stowing away on a Separatist scout ship, Pha'gir'ioa never looked back on her ravaged homeworld, content with just getting away from the Malvans.
