Personality

Nina is a bright, usually cheerful young woman. However, due to her instability, sometimes, she can get really depressed (mostly when her powers shift to something very dark or destructive). If it weren't for that incident, she'd be your standard, run-of-the-mill student, living a teenager's life.

Physical appearance

Nina isn't that different from the other teenagers, she dresses casually, she is fit, not too tall, not too short, she could very well apply for the "Miss Average" title. That is if it weren't from her hair and eyes. Her hair, once blonde is now iridescent, and her eyes have turned into pools of swirling darkness. It is currently unknown how she can still perfectly see, or how her body was physically altered to get such results.

Her armor is only a tightly fitting suit, designed to absorb and nullify the excessive amount of energy released by quantum shifts. I looks basically like a supple metal material.

Aura reading

Reading her aura can be quite hard, if not totally confusing: the colors, warmth, depth and shape shifting all the time. However, there is still her very own layer, deep under all the swirling and shifting that remain a pale blue. That layer irradiates curiosity, sympathy and a craving for fun.

Mind reading

Nina's mind is surprisingly stable and similar to any youth her age. Questions about herself, changes in her body, things like "Will Edward ever sleep with Bella?"... You will notice questions and doubts about her powers too, but, also, great hopes for those. For example, posters of her, posing with the Champions as a full-fledged member. Or cups, medals, ribbons for deeds of bravery and the help she provides to the helpless.

Abilities / Powers

Her abilities change so fast and so suddenly that it's hard to keep track of them. This is both her best advantage against villains and her worst problem: how to master her new powers fast enough to never be defenseless? Luckily her suit helps her stabilizing her powers in a matter of minutes. So far, registered abilities are: physical strength and savagery, darkness powers, martial arts, uncanny knowledge and craft with machinery, lightning mastery.

Background

Physics is really an interesting field of study, with enough power-generation, you can create wormholes to alternate dimensions. However, when you don't take enough precautions, things can happen. That is exactly what happened to Nina one day she went on a field-trip with school to one of her father's science plant. Nina was caught in a stream of quantum particles from a wormhole, placing her body in a permanent state of flux, granting her ever changing powers. To help her stabilize, her father had his teams come up with a special suit, containing and focusing Nina's powers so they don't run amok every time a quantum shift occurs. To ensure her safety as well as her well-being, her father sent her to Millennium City. There, she would be able to use her powers for the greater good and also seek guidance from the best heroes on the planet.
