April used to be a happy 11 year old girl.. well as happy as one could be when made to leave your home.. but still her life was not that bad... she had friends and a nice home to eat in. She was suddenly aged forward a lot due to her powers.. she was confused and scared until the hero Psi-Rene found and took the poor thing in to help teach and guide her as her body slowly changed and adapted to this new adult form. There are still times that inner child peeks out for a goofy question or helplessly confused look. Other then those changes things seemed to be really looking up for the girl she had a family again... Took on the mantle of Mistress Mystery and fought crime to the best of her ability. She did register but was not completely honest with her powers as she was afraid of being used.. or put down as she was too dangerous. If asked all she will say is that she is a high level telekinetic. That does not stop her from finding sneaky ways to use her matter control to make a persons day better.

Sadly her power is not a secret easily kept from those that would abuse it. She was abducted by Nocturne from her home and kept in a coma like state. Being assailed by nightmares the entire time. Shortly after her capture she was taken to Qliphoth to be traded or pawned off on the kings for a favor, but they do not deal with such low beings and they just took what they wanted... she was stolen by the Kings of Edom. Her mind constantly assaulted as they try and turn April to their whims. Subtlety trying to trick or break her will. She claimed it felt like centuries in their care. She was luckily rescued by her adoptive family, but left quite traumatized by her experience. Due to a wish granted by a genie she is more back to her normal cheerful self.
