Overview

Born and raised as a rancher's son in the Texas borderlands of the irradiated wastes, he never planned on being a hero. He'd have been happy just riding his horse, corralling the beef, and finding himself a pretty young bride. God willing, maybe even a family. That was all lost when he found the armor. Even posessing the armor of one of the local bandit "lords" was a death sentance, so he sat down and put his considerable mechanical aptitude to work fixing it up.

After a number of running battles with the local bandits, Marcus found himself pulled through a rift to this world. The group responsible called itself D-unit, a division within Bureau-17, gave him a job. Some time later, pulling several strings, he landed in Millenium City doing PR work for D-unit. That's when he came to the realization he enjoyed being a hero, and helping the folks who needed it.
