Once an ordinary mole who lived in Old Lady Janning's backyard, Magic Mole was affected by a magic artifact stored in Janning's basement. Magic Mole grew in size and intelligence until she achieved a level of self-awareness previously unknown to molekind, and, determined to use her newfound understanding and magical powers for good, she became the first known mole superhero.
