Personality
Kumi is a kind girl who would do anything to help her friends. She can be naive more often than not, as she has little knowledge of Earth and how things work.
Description
Regardless of her current outfit, Kumi can always be seen wearing a necklace with a glowing green jewel in the center that matches her eyes. Her casual outfit is a T-Shirt and jeans. Her combat outfit, at first glance, would seem to give barely any protection at all, but is actually made up of a highly durable, highly flexible material. White and yellow fur covers her upper body, while her lower half is pure white. She has two small fox ears on the top of her head, as well as a fox tail.
Powers
Early in her life, Kumi was injected with a special regeneration mutagen which causes her to heal damage to her body much faster than a normal person could. Other than that, she seems pretty average.
Equipment
Sonic Pistol: Kumi is almost never seen without her sonic blaster, which she stole from the Qularr upon their landing. The sound waves it makes are not lethal, but are potent enough to render a person unconscious.
Laser Sword: A basic sword that uses a highly concentrated beam of light in place of a blade. Kumi carries this with her most of the time, though she has been seen without it.
Energy Field Generator: Another piece of equipment Kumi keeps with her always. With this, she can project a shield of energy out in front of her to deflect incoming attacks. Lately, she has learned how to focus the energy created into a projectile weapon. Her newest tricks are being able to emit a protective force field around allies, and being able to emit a large blast, knowing away any enemies in her path.
History
Kumi originally comes from a far away planet in a distant galaxy, but was kidnapped early in her life by a race of reptiles known as the Nyth. Normally, the two species lived in relative peace, but recently, a conflict has broken out between two factions of Nyth over the new shaman candidate, Liz Drakon. Kumi was kidnapped by a group of renegade Nyth in an attempt to spark a war between the races. Growing up, Kumi literally had to fight to survive, as she was constantly in the middle of all out war between the two factions of Nyth, as well as her own race. She scavenged a laser sword from a fallen Nyth, and ran out into the forests in an attempt to escape. The forest, Kumi soon found out, was filled with weird, hostile creatures, all of which wanting to eat her, or worse.
Thankfully, Kumi quickly ran into a group of friendly forest nomads who took her in and treated her as one of their own. They taught her to fight, to hunt, and to survive. After spending years in the jungle, she decided to return to civilization in an attempt to find her way back to her home planet. She was captured again, this time by the Qularr, an insectoid race that landed on the Nyth home world to refuel their fleets before continuing on their journey to Earth.
The ship Kumi was in was one of the first to be shot down by Earth's defenders, and she quickly made her escape. She stole a sonic pistol from a dead Qularr and ran, soon finding herself in the middle of an offensive lead by the champion Ironclad. After seeing first hand how nice the humans were towards her, even in the middle of a war, Kumi decided to help out, and was soon being called "hero" by many.
