Physical Appearance

Light to pale freckled skin with vibrant green eyes and ginger hair help Charlie stand out somewhat. Her stature otherwise is quite average and much of her chosen attire is otherwise as plain as most citizens of Millennium City. Her armor on the other hand stands out with a golden yellow and silvery white sheen, with vents upon the suit typically leaking a green glow.

Her Origin & Power

Charlie hails from Westside of Millennium City, having attended the highschool there. She has never met her parents and had been taken care of as long as she was able to remember by her now deceased grandmother. Otherwise, she has lived the life of a normal child that continued until she had reached the age of thirteen of which her powers had begun to bloom.

Upon her powers manifesting, Charlie had partaken in vigilantism briefly in an attempt to clean up the hardened streets of Westside, all while balancing school, her part-time work, and taking care of her ill grandmother. Her attempts at secrecy were short lived, considering the ease to locate her. UNTIL eventually caught up with her and proceeded to offer Charlie proper training and eventually higher education on the condition that she ceases her attempts to take the law into her own hands. It was accepted, with UNTIL offering financial support for an eventual payoff of a meta-human with such a useful ability.

Considering Charlie's powers were still in their infant state, much of what she can potentially do is unknown. Initially it was thought she could only absorb, and manipulate kinetic energy of which is absorbed immediately through near-contact. However, this seemed to extend to most forms of energy (magical and psionic energy have some exemptions), provided it does not exceed her own physical threshold. Unused energy is released in the form of waste naturally, however it can be manipulated in various ways, such as increased speed, reflexes, strength and endurance, enhanced mitosis, among many, many other potential uses that is not only limited to her own body. Enhancement given onto other subjects is temporary depending on the amount of energy that is transferred. The most interesting and potentially useful feature of these powers, is that Charlie is capable of potentially becoming a perpetual energy battery by constantly being in motion, constantly reabsorbing her energy that is expelled.

Upon attending Ravenswood, Charlie had been issued a specialized suit of power armor that is powered entirely by her. While it nullifies the issue of being incapable of releasing her stored energy with the ability to vent harmlessly, as not to succumb to "overcharge" without the effort of performance enhancing, it also increases the overall efficiency and use of her powers. "Overcharge" is a phenomenon that occurs when Charlie absorbs far beyond the threshold of energy she is capable of keeping within her body. "Overcharging" can lead to numerous ill effects, such as nausea, migraines, diarrhea, vomiting, unconsciousness, seizures, heart palpitations, internal and external bleeding, numbness of extremities, or in cases of extreme "overcharge", potentially death.
