Greed is one of many sins that humankind is consumed by. It brought a man of great riches, weapons, and control to want more. Upon the mafian's worldly travels, he found a way to enhance his circle of power. The human summoned himself up a familiar spirit, binding to it and ordering the being to destroy his enemies and those who have done him wrong in the past. This was a simple task, and the guardian spirit obeyed it's master without resistance, as it was intended.

Over time, vengeance slowly twisted into sadism, and the spirit's true purpose began to warp and become corrupt. Blood poured from women, children, even the elderly; it didn't seem to matter to the master. He had turned into a madman, drunk on blood and money. The familiar became furious, eventually turning on it's owner and thus possessing the man.

With his identity stolen, the familiar spirit continues to reside in full control over the bodily functions of the man. All the power, money, and fame was now in the hands of the guardian. It didn't take very long for the creature to begin to live out the cursed human's life as it's own. In time, 'he' grew to find affection of a woman and passed the essence of his power to the offspring.

An unruly and stubborn heir to the family business, Ira works for her father under his wing. Their relationship is currently strained, but more or less on positive terms. She occasionally branches out through the eastern coast of America in order to put her name out. The woman is trained in basic combat and defense, firearms, and that nature sourcing from the job line.

Although she doesn't quite enjoy it, drug-trafficking and transport is her main income. Upon reaching base in Millennium City, she's taken up residence and now aims to be a gun-for-hire rather than rely on her father's "company" beyond what is asked of her.

*Ira has no knowledge of her father's history beyond his species.

-High Stamina/Endurance; can last in a fight for a longer amount of time and is able to take heavy damage without being completely affected by pain.

-Advanced Strength; breaking someone else's bones and lifting usually impossible weight comes with ease.

-Advanced Speed; reflexes and agility are near blurring to untrained eyes.

-Tracking Skills; extremely high sense of smell, able to pick up both spiritual and physical scents and use them to hunt/track someone specific down.

-Temporary Possession: This allows Ira to be able to take control of the target’s body for a short amount of time by transferring some of her spirit into the body. Must be in contact with the target to activate, the target is also conscious through the possession. Unlike a full-blood Inugami, she is only allowed 24hrs maximum inside the other person’s body, or risk losing consciousness. [I will of course, ask permission before engaging this power.]

The Inugami

A class of being from Japanese mythology, which is similar to the Shikigami and who belongs to the range of the spirits, the Kami. Japanese folklore describes Inugami as zoomorphic or anthropomorphic, dog-like beings, often similar to werewolves. They are masters of black magic. They most commonly carry out vengeance or act as guardians on behalf of the inugami-mochi, or "inugami owner". Inugami are extremely powerful and capable of existing independently, as well as turning on their "owners" and even possessing humans.

The general belief is that an inugami is created by burying a dog up to its neck and placing food around it, which it cannot reach. It would take days for the dog to die, and during this time the dog's master would tell it that its pain is nothing compared to his own. When the dog dies, it would become an inugami; since its dying wish would have been to eat, the food placed around the corpse would act as a placatory offering, and thus make the spirit obedient.

A more specific legend states that an old woman who desired revenge against an enemy buried her treasured dog in the ground with only its head sticking out, and said "If you have a soul, do my will and I will worship you as a god." She then sawed the dog's head off with a bamboo saw, releasing the dog's spirit as an inugami. The spirit did as she wished, but in return for its painful death it haunted the old woman.

In the Oki Islands, the inugami takes on the function that the Kitsune holds in many other regions of Japan. It is believed that an inugami-mochi will be blessed with great fortune and success, and that favors granted by them will be returned with interest. However, in exchange the inugami-mochi are shunned by other people, and find it hard to get married; they must also be careful not to offend their inugami lest they receive its wrath, as unlike the kitsune, an inugami does not merely follow its master's wishes, but also acts on its own impulses.

Many small villages in Japan are considered to have at least one person with the power to control the Gami. Possession by an inugami is said to cure sickness, or ill health; however, it also results in the possessed losing their will.

- PM-friendly for sure.

- This information on this page is not publicly accessed, which means your character does not know anything about mine unless we RP it out or we work something with them having past history.

- The Castellano Family is well-known in the criminal world, if your character is of law enforcement or happens to actually read/watch the news, it's possible you will know her name. (Considering if she gives you the whole thing.)

- Spiritual readers will pick up a definite trace of something "more" to her, though unless they are akin to the exact species of her father, they won't be able to pinpoint much information.
