Info about Nightress' home universe
Basic Info
Nightress' home universe (what is known of it by the residents anyways) is two solar systems, each with one planet. the two solar systems are the Lightron system, and the Voidran system.
The main language spoken on both planets is English with a few Draconian terms placed in.
Voidran System
Spacial Geography
The world in the Voidran system is Voidrana, which revolves around a gigantic planet and is in actuality the planet's moon. Voidrana is a world of dark tropical jungles and eternal night, due to the way Voidrana orbits it's planet, and the way the planet orbits their star, a yellow star about the size of our sun.
The planet Voidrana orbits is about Jupiter's size and is uninhabitable, with an atmosphere similar to our Venus, and is named Deathona, a pun on the fact that it's atmosphere kills any living being who visits it.
Planetary Geography
Voidrana is a world with nothing but dark, tropical jungles, and most Voidranian Cities are either a series of tree-houses or a series of stone buildings, though the homes of the wealthy tend to be similar to Earth's idea of a mansion, stretching from Modern size to Newport size, and usually with fully developed land.
Society and Government
Life on Voidrana is harsh and poor, with very few rich Voidranians.
those that are rich are the richest on the planet, with enough combined money to feed the entire planet and have some left over if they chose to, though they never do.
Society in Voidrana is one of Corrupt Aristocratic Anarchism, or, in english; the people with the money make any and all rules, and are always corrupt, preferring to do what will help them instead of what will help others. no one dares go against them, save for a select few individuals who know nothing of each other (mainly for their own protection) and do the robin hood act. Nightress was one such person.
Flora and Fawna
The only sentient species on Voidrana is the Voidranians, or by their scientific name; Homo-Demonius-Autharna-Dragonis, or, Homo-Demonic-Dark-Dragon, a species of humanoid black-skinned dragons with demonic tails.
Other species on Voidrana consist of Harsh Carnivorous Draconian Animals such as Draconian Canines with magic-proofed skin evolved to be resistant to Voidranian claws known as Draco-hounds, and a variety of draconian snakes, frogs, birds, and fish evolved to be highly poisonous. Because of the constantly harsh environment, Voidranians' diets consist of various fruits, leaves, vegetables, and specially prepared birds prepared to have their poison removed, though because of their danger these are usually reserved for special occasions.
Basically, Voidrana is one of the harshest environments you'd ever find, between the animals and a variety of extremely volatile plants, as well as multiple environmental hazards in the untamed forests, such as quicksand and other things, Hence why and how Voidranians evolved the way they did, though the origins of Dracohounds are a large mystery(due to them seemingly being the perfect predators for Modern Voidranians) that has rumors of ties to Lightranian Experiments, though nothing has ever been proven.
Voidranian Physiology
Being Draconian species, Voidranians' skins are actually made up of a set of scales so small they look like skin(though you can feel them upon touch pretty easily), which for some reason is completely non-reflective, giving the appearance of chromatic black human skin. Strangely, despite being a draconian species, Voidranians are actually warm-blooded beings.
The bone structure of a Voidranian is about 2 times thicker than a normal human's, giving them an increased weight.
Voidranians' Fangs seem to be made only for appearances, and apparently serve no purpose other than as sharp teeth.
Voidranians' Claws are non-retractable, act as their fingernails, and seem to be made of a material similar to a lizard's, and are made for slashing through materials such as flesh, but apparently are too weak to cut through things like rock or metal.
For some reason that can't quite be explained other than "Adverse effects due to living in an environment ruled by magic" Voidranians apparently have the same strength and reflexes as an average earth human(despite the tallest Voidranians being about 6'7"), but due to their incredibly long lifespans(Voidranians can live a maximum of 5000 years, and are recognized as adults around age 1850)and the harsh upbringing that is common on Voidrana, Quickly surpass humans in capability of use with these abilities, becoming fast enough to slash projectiles from a low-powered gun, though successfulness in blocking or destroying these projectiles depends on the type of projectile. for example; a Voidranian may be able to block or destroy a tranq dart, but a bullet would probably be too fast and/or small for them.
Voidranians' Horns seem to be made to be used as a helmet, though most Voidranians see it only as a natural decoration built into their heads, often using it to help style their hair. They seem to be made of an ultra-hard form of keratin, much like goat horns.
Voidranians' Tails are long, thin, poles of Voidranian Flesh with the triangular tip being made of Voidranian bone, and are controllable, but not prehensile, with it's main use being a whip-style weapon, though it has no possible applications for cutting, instead being used as a hammer.
Voidranian Senses are all at normal human levels, except for their sense of sight, which is made for little-to-no light situations.
Voidranians have Draconic Fins instead of ears, which seem to work through sensing vibrations in the air, yet somehow still only give a normal human level of hearing ability.
Voidranians seem to always come in a mix of the colors blue and black, and usually make their clothing and gear to match this.
Voidranian Mental Abilities seem to be at the same level as that of an normal human, if that human could live centuries.
Voidranian Technological Accomplishments
The Wingpacks used by Voidranians and Lightranians are a magical creation thought up by a Voidranian Biologist and Experimenter, who says that the idea "came to me from nowhere.". He is currently one of(if not the) the richest being(s) on Voidrana, and has multiple factories which create the wingpacks through magical processes, which ship them to Lightrana to be sold, though there are a few private dealers in Voidrana he has contracts with.
Lightran System
Spacial Geography
Lightrana is a planet about half Jupiter's size orbiting around a yellow star similar to our sun, except it is the same size as ours, only correctly proportionate to Lightrana. Lightrana has eternal paradisaical summer, and has a day/night cycle of about 24.5 Earth Hours.
Planetary Geography
Lightrana is made up of one giant continent and one ocean, with the continent being made up of beaches on the coasts, green fields and matching rolling hills inland(with a few lakes and rivers mixed in), and in the center, a gigantic futuristic city which serves as the home for the majority of Lightranians, as well as being the center for the Royal Family, the Senate, and the HQs for the Royal Army and Special and Standard Police Departments.
Society and Government
The government system on Lightrana is a Monarchist Republic, that is to say; The planet is ruled by a king and queen with help from a senate.
Lightrana has an immense system of military and police, with the royal army and the standard and special crimes police departments, and various courts ranging from the basic courts for small matters, up to the royal courts for planetary, interplanetary, or royal matters.
Usually Lightranians couldn't care less about Voidranians, and as such are incredibly hated by the normal people of Voidrana, which has evolved into a mutual hatred between the two planets, sometimes to species-ist levels.
Society on Lightrana could be considered a paradise, where everyone is always content and no one ever really breaks laws; the military and police are mainly for any visiting Voidranians, or in the highly unlikely case of another possibly hostile sentient species is discovered.
Flora and Fauna
The only sentient species on Lightrana is the Homo-Angelicus-Anrahtua-Dragonis, or Homo=Angelic-Light-Dragon, a species exactly opposite of the Voidranians, that is said to be still a separate species.
Non-Sentient species on Lightrana are much more peaceful and somewhat similar to earth animals, with normal-esque draconian cats, dogs, monkeys, fish, birds, etc., though for some reason hostile species seem to be non-existent.
Lightranian Physiology
While claimed to be an entirely separate species, the similarity of Lightranians to Voidranians is ridiculous.
Lightranians are Draconian Humanoids with reflective whit scale skin with nearly identical structure to that of the Voidranians', Horns apparently made more for the amplification of mental and magical energy than anything else, Side-head Fins made for hearing through sensing vibrations(though somehow only getting normal human level hearing from them), normal human-looking fingernails, and a simple, normal, plain lizard tail which is apparently used primarily for balance.
Their senses are all normal human level, except for their eyes, which are apparently made at a human's level of sight, except for their appearance being reptilian, and they are able to withstand extremely bright lights.
Lightranian Physiology is apparently focused towards leisure and the pursuit of knowledge, with a bone structure about the same thickness level as that of a normal human's, a cold-blooded circulatory system, and increased intelligence and aptitude for mental powers and magical ability.
Lightranians always come in colors of red and white, and usually make their clothing and gear to match this.
Common Ties and Possible Rumors about them
Physiology
The similarities between physiologies of Voidranians and Lightranians are ridiculous in number, and a possible theory for this is as follows:
Voidranians are a creation of experimentation by Lightranians on their own people; At some point in history, Lightranians possibly experimented on their own people, the results being a species designed for battle and survival; The Voidranians. It would not be the first time, as evidenced by the Voidrana Draco-hounds, creatures seemingly created specifically as an enemy to Voidranians, and which the Voidranian themselves have rumors of Draco-Hounds being created through Lightranian experimentation.
Any attempts to investigate this theory, however, will be met by strong hatred, rejection, and most likely being run away by an angry mob from both sides, due to the millennia long hatred between Voidranians and Lightranians.
