Appearance And Personality

Standing only around 5'11, Arbor sports a very slim to athletic body frame. He has a very relaxed posture, if not one to seem to very grandiose and poise; it would be mistaken for dissociation with his current surroundings, which is more often than not, not the case. Sitting atop his head, is a deep ocean blue bush of hair, the tips of which are in a shade of cyan; the combination of which sets apart his views of social contact through the reference of ocean water; it's not just for style! Under his clothes, since he often chooses to wander without a shirt, is a full body tattoo of a wave current that elongates over his body, wrists and ankles. On close inspection, it's also visible, that his body differs from a regular person's body in some specific structural areas.

Arbor is a very calm, compassionate individual. He has the patience of a saint, when it comes to people, in any sense of the word. He has, to this day still, never lost himself to impatient anger. Though his powers permit him to see what others hide behind a facade they create, he chooses to almost never do so, opting to allow them to do what they see fit, and not intrude on what they do not wish to be seen by him or others. He can, often times, or almost all the time, be a highly curious man. His curiosity is likely to be the only feature of his personality to rival his care for others. If it's something he doesn't know, he'll be damned sure to poke and prod at every angle until he learns all of the juicy details. This is especially true for technology.

Spring Arbor

Spring Arbor, his personaliy during the time of a spring high tide when the sun, moon and earth are in a line, and the gravitational force of both are combined. Spring Arbor is a very aggressive, much more 'Hands on' approach variant of his personality. Quick to lose his teper, and even more so quick to paint his speech with vulgarity, Spring Arbor is a very abrasive stereotype. During Spring tides, Arbor's aggressive personality brings him to use combat tactics and hand to hand technique more frequently than his Hydrokinetics.

Neap Wylatt

Neap Wylatt, his much less aggressive, calmer, more caring self, during the time of a low tide, when the sun and moon pull on the earth at right angles. During a neap tide, Arbor's personality is much more reserved, quiet and posh. He has much more class at this period of time than his spring tide self. Neap Wylatt is one to closely relate to physical contact with another object, opting to socialize, rather than fight. In essence, Neap Wylatt is more 'Kind words, soft hits'. Unlike his spring tide self, this personality phase brings Arbor to use his Hydrokinetics far more than combat technique. During this phase, Arbor is unlikely to engage anything aggressively at close combat. During a Neap tide, Arbor is able to use the Water Creation technique of his arsenal, allowing him to surplus water at a very staggering cost.

Skills and Equipment

• Steam Kaboom: As stated below, when Arbor's body is struck by any source of heat strong enough to act as a beginning catalyst to the evaporation reaction, it will begin to revert into steam. Arbor has, for a long time, known about many of his weaknesses, and has taken a lot of time to prepare himself for the situations he may face. When his body reverts, he is capable of manipulating the steam that exudes from the reaction process, super-heating it and eventually creating a small steam-explosion from it.

• One with the Element: There are some bare limitations on Arbor's control of water. He is, for example, unable to have any outward influence on the water within a person's body. If he cannot see it with his own eyes, he can do nothing with it. If, however, he is in close, outward physical contact with said person, he is able to use the water that composes their body as a medium to their subconscious thoughts and feelings. Much like Empathy, or Telepathy, this allows him to understand a person easily when they put up a social barrier, or try to enforce hidden agenda and ulterior motive.

• System Shock:

Weaknesses

• A Good Conductor: His body, being mostly water, will channel electricty like any other body of water. Because of this, anyone having physical contact with him when he is conducting electricity will be prone to some very shocking effects.

• Self Inflicting: When his sources of water with which to use his powers are in low supply, he will resort to using his own bodies naturally recycling hydrogen. This weakens him over time, and can pose a potential self-threat in combat.

• A Natural Process: His body is mostly water, because of which, it will convert into steam in a slow process of evaporation when hit by fire or anything that will produce enough heat to cause the reaction.

Trivia

- His body is 100% comprised of pure sparkling water.

- Hydro is not a hero name, but more of a nickname given to him for the hydro tank he carries with him.

- Music will have a direct influence on his body.

- He prefers salt-water lakes, they tend to be more modest about their ventures.

- Consumption of any amount of alcohol will result in intoxication within 10 seconds.

- Contrary to belief, the moon itself and it's positions have no effect on Arbor's powers. They do, however, greatly influence his disposition and personality.
