History
Born from parents that emigrated from Russia, both her scientist father and her lab assistant mother that found themselves without work when capitalism took over in USSR. They moved to Windsor, where they gained employment and taught at the University of Windsor. They were cut down when the death ray that destroyed Detroit, when they were doing a field trip in the city. Natasha Kirlova became a ward of the state. At age 18, she attended the University of Windsor with a full scholarship and interned with the Physics Department. However, during some lab work at a place she interned at, a villain with designs on her research took interest. She was subjected to a mutagenic compound and subjected to the process she had engineered. Much to her surprise, she gained access to untold power. The villain, Harbinger, placed her into a crystalline tube and made to be a living power generator. She had been saved by other heroes and decided that she enjoyed helping others and using the power at her disposal and opted to help others with her gift.

The experimentation on Enermatrix allows her to tap a portion of the energy of the universe, also known as 0 point energy, and discharge it in the form of electricty.
