Short biography: Elena Hall is the daughter of Melanie Elena Hall and an unknown father. Her mother was badly wounded after being hit by a bolt of lightning and shortly after died. The unborn girl survived though. As her mother could not give her a name before her death, the young girl was named Elena, not an unknown tradition to take on the middle name of someone's parents or grandparents after all.

She had no living relatives and for the first few months she lived with several other kids in an orphanage. Shortly after she was adopted and grew up with her foster parents and lived with them till she was of age and started to live on her own. Elena was not treated bad, but she always felt neglected and even worse she never really saw her foster parents as her real family. Her real family was not with her and because she was scared to be scolded of telling fairy tales, she never really talked of them. After all her foster parents wouldn't have understood her one way or the other, no one seemed to understand.

Her life changed one day when she was in Canada, exploring strange storms and there it was where she met a hero with the name of Titan, or Jon Grey as she got to know him. Not only did he save her from a horde of zombies, but he also helped her to get over her own insecurity. In the end she tried to use her powers for the first time, instead of just accepting that she was different and listening to her strange family. Over time she became acquainted not only with Jon, but with several other meta-humans as well.

Elena was dragged into situations, she never really intended to be part of. She never wanted to be a hero, just expected to live a good normal life. Growing fond, not only of Jon, but also of several of the younger metahumans, most of them part of the Young Sentinels, forced her to get more and more involved in the supernatural and heroic side of the world.

Origin: When her mother died, the little unborn girl was confused. With the spirit of her mother fading from the material world, the baby in her womb did what seemed most natural to her, she followed. In this early phase of her life, Elena had a quirk of fate that made her different from others. She could pass the barriers between the dimensions easily, as if there were no barriers at all. She had a natural gift for extra dimensional travel. Her mother's spirit passed through the astral in the blink of an eye, called to death's domain in Tiphereth. Elena followed all the way, through the lower, middle and upper astral and finally making her way through the veil of the temple.

While others were forever caught in this barrier, the little baby girl had no real destination, nothing that she would have projected out, no dreams or wishes she could think of, she just followed her mothers spirit and this way she passed the veil unhindered. When she was finally in the brialic realms however she lost her mothers spirit. The world was strange and unlike anything she could really understand. She drifted in the realm, looking for something to hold on to, something to protect her and comfort her. When she finally found something her mind could grasp a place she felt comfortable at, a place where she wouldn't go mad, she fell asleep. It was there under the Tree of Mystery that the little baby caught someone's attention. It was a strange place there under the tree for a little mortal baby, there in a place that was always existing, some say where time has no real meaning at all.

The first who found her was Tharmas, prime avatar of nature. Elena should never learn what sparked the entities attention, but Tharmas seemed to like the idea of something that brought a little bit of the circle of life and death to this unchanging place, for their was rarely any change in this world of concepts. Some say it was Tharmas who whispered the idea of a baby to Luvah, others say he left and was not interested in the baby at all and Luvah found the baby without anyone else. Whatever the truth, Elena remembered the wild aspects of Tharmas for all her life. She learned to love the raging of a storm, the wild winds and the quiet whispers of flowing air.

Luvah the prime avatar of chaos and emotion, or to be more precise the female aspect Vala later decided to keep the little baby and raise her as her daughter. Adapting to the baby's needs Vala's garden Beulah became a wonderful and interesting paradise for the little girl.

How the change happened is unknown, all that Elena knows is that this was the time when another side of her being started to be born. To calm Urizen, who thought that it was wrong for the baby to stay, a concept started to exist. The idea of the birth and life and even death of a concept did not exist before, they either existed or they did not. Elena filled this paradox, a born and living entity, a concept of something that didn't exist before. She was still a human, but she was also a conceptual entity. Luvah was overjoyed of the chaos it caused and the little baby who loved her as a mother and while not speaking openly for Elena Tharmas was also happy to finally see that the circle of life was now a part of the brialic world as well. Urizen did not hide his anger about the situation, but as the paradox was no more he stopped to argue after a while and returned to his palace.

Elena cannot remember how long she lived there, with her new mother in a place that was strange for many. There was however a time, when Luvah realized that the human side of the girl needed others around her to take care of her. A place to grow up and learn and live her life. At some point she sent Elena back to her world. Time was different in the Briah and a lot more has passed in Luvah's demesne than on her homeworld. Barely a few seconds had passed there and she returned only a short time after she left. She was found shortly after and her life continued.

A little baby girl that miraculously survived the car accident that killed her mother. Still, to them she was just a little baby, like many others.

They did not see the tears, as the rain did not stop for hours

They did not hear the song, as thunder was roaring over the fields

They did not feel the joy, as lightning struck a hundred times

A little spark of life amidst the storm was different though

Watching the tears of her new mother

Listening to the music of her new friends

Finding comfort in the light of her guardian
