Dragon Marked

"Evil is not an inert force, as you all know. It is a viscous, intelligent thing with goals. And it will achieve these goals, even bound as it is. Perhaps not directly, but through certain agents. These agents are no manner of demon or avatar, but rather men and women who have given up their souls and any good that exists within them for power. The beings have been marked by the Dragon, and they must be destroyed or else they will be our doom"

The embodiment of human evil is bound, but it remains more powerful than most would like to imagine. But despite this power, there is little it can do on it's own to work against it's bindings beyond causing men to act against each other. It is because of this fact that the dragon begun empowering ordinary men and women with a fraction of it's terrible power. Upon being empowered the individual is forever more bound to the Dragon, but rather than force them to act as it sees fit the Dragon permits them to act on their own as it subtly influences towards certain goals.

As empowered agents of the Dragon, each possesses unnatural abilities based on certain aspects of the Dragon. These aspects are most easily defined by the Seven Deadly Sins, "Wrath", "Lust", "Envy", "Greed", "Gluttony", "Sloth", and "Pride".

-Aspects of Wrath have the ability to control the elements

-Aspects of Lust are unnaturally coercive

-Aspects of Envy are unnaturally stealthy

-Aspects of Gluttony are able to absorb a number of forces and turn them against their source

A Dragon Marked's given aspect also affects their personality, meaning an Aspect of "Wrath" is typically filled with rage and an Aspect of Slot is extremely lazy. The original personality remains intact, though if the bestowed Aspect is opposite of the personality the result will be a mix of the two extremes.

There are two orders of Dragon Marker, Greater and Lesser. Greater Dragon Marked possess two or more Aspects, but never all seven at once, and are less affect by their particular Aspect's traits. A Lesser Dragon Marked possesses only one Aspect and are controlled by it to a greater degree.
