The Devastator is a genetically enhanced human who serves as one of the most powerful and formidable heroes in Millennium City. Gifted with superhuman physical powers, this mighty juggernaut uses his immense power to protect the innocent from those wish to harm.

Powers & Abilities

• Super strength - Ethan is several orders of magnitude stronger than an average human being, and is far more powerful than even most superhumans. His limits have not been well defined, but he is capable of lifting several hundred megatons, and at full strength, can shatter an asteroid nearly the size of the moon in a single strike.

• Super speed - Ethan can run and fly at incredible speeds, faster than any human or man-made vehicle. He has been shown to fly at hyper-sonic speeds, and has on several occasions moved at 1% of the speed of light, though he refrains from accelerating past Mach 1000 to avoid collateral damage.

• Near-invulnerability - Ethan's skin and muscles are durable enough to withstand most forms of physical injury; bombs, bullets, heat, lasers, electricity, and extreme temperatures do not harm him at all. Though his body is not completely indestructible, he has been able to survive extremely powerful forces, including an energy blast that can shatter small moons. He has also been able to enter areas clouded by radioactive fallout, with no ill effects. His extreme durability extends to his individual cells, providing him immunity against toxins and most earthly diseases.

• Super endurance - Due to his immense strength and durability, Ethan is capable of exerting himself for long periods of time without exhaustion. Even after tanking a a blast capable of shattering a moon, he was able to recover in several minutes.

• Flight - By polarizing his body against the Earth's magnetic field, Ethan can propel himself into the atmosphere, and in essence, fly. He can continue to use this ability in space; in fact it becomes easier due to the presence of more sources of magnetic fields from all sorts of celestial bodies.

• Giant growth - By manipulating the mitochondria in his muscle cells, Ethan can concentrate the energy in his body into his skeletal muscles and bones, proportionally increasing his height, size, and strength. The sheer durability of his cells and skeletal structure allow him to grow his body without causing any structural damage. This ability can only be used for several minutes at a time, but with training, Ethan has been able to use it consecutively without tiring out.
